I'm by no means an expert at this, but iirc even mig-25, which could go beyond mach 3, pilots weren't advised to go over 2.6-2.7 mach, since anything above would seriously damage the aircraft. So it may be possible for the 111 to reach mach 3, but then it'd over.

@TangoRomeo Imo that's because you're only watching it without any clue's what was pressed. Anyway I believe that it's a lot different when you're actually playing it since you have feel the effects of your input. (I know I'm pretty bad at explaining ^^).

Weight F-111F, empty 47,481 pounds (21,367 kilograms). Maximum Takeoff Weight F-111F, 100,000 pounds (45,000 kilograms). according to FAS. And I doubt that the F-model weighs twice as much as the A-model. So I suppose that his figures aren't that off.

i thought the a-10a was scrapped and theyre only doing the c-version next. which module comes after that isn't entirely decided yet iirc.

what kind of x1950 do you have? pro or xt(x)? in any case the 1950, even the pro version, is a lot more powerful than the 8600 gt, depending on the resolution about 20-30%, even faster than the 8600 gts. dx10 doesnt mean much, since the 8600 gt is too slow for it anyway. if you don't believe me, just google for benchmarks about the 8600gt and x1950.

perhaps he was comparing them using the same software? it's not really precisely worded. it's not that implausible that the ram usage might be higher, since the resolution of the TIR5 is higher than TIR4 (though I disagree with skoiboy[meant theGozr here] that it'll make any kind of difference anyway...).

also 9.4 here advanced catalyst a.i. does generally speaking not work anyway, need to put it on standard.

apparantly you can't use modifiers in the current beta version, I also tried. anyway over at the naturalpoint forums they said that'll be implemented again soon if i remember correctly.

actually the zoom in lomac is not shifting your head in and out iirc. rather your FoV decreases and gets magnified, but your head stays at the very same position. i suppose you just worded it wrong.

Alleine die Tatsache, dass man den Apache im SP alleine steuern muss, ist doch der Realismuskiller :P Aber wenn man den Apache zu zweit im MP steuern kann, wie angedeutet wurde, würde ich es sogar dem A-10 Modul vorziehen :thumbup: Dauert aber wohl noch 2-3 Jahre leider.
