I have a request, if anyone's able to assist... I'm wondering if anyone could reproduce the fictional F-86 skin that's seen in the movie from 1981 called 'The Last Chase'. It's the movie that showed an 11 year old me how cool an F-86 was. Thank you for your time :) Nyxs

First, Thanks very much for your training missions. They are soon to come in very handy helping a few of my friends learn how to fly online. I tested out the free flight and free flight bad weather missions the other night and I kept running into an issue. Perhaps someone could enlighten the rookie pilot (me)? In the mission you start with nothing, so I contact maintenance (f10) and request fuel / rearm. Once I receive the "fuel / rearm complete" from them, I begin my startup sequence. My issue is, when I'm done and ready to taxi or lift off, the maintenance crew keeps shouting "Hey - What are you doing". Can someone tell me what I'm missing? At first I thought it was because I had forgotten to turn off my external electric connection, but even when i start up with the onboard batteries only, I still get that message. Cheers! Nyxs

Not to hijack this thread, but I have a noob question: I would like to fly FC2. I do not own Lomac. Will I be able to download Lomac and FC2 from the website, or do I need to secure a copy of Lomac from Amazon.com or some such venue? Thanks All :) Nyxs

That's correct. I really wish I could find the post on ATIs' forums about that. One of the company officials came out and said almost precisely that. It was not up to the card manufacturer to make sure that their hardware is compatible with every game on the market. If a games maker wants their game to play well with a multi gpu card (multi core cpu, etc), it's up to them to write the code to take advantage of that.

I had that happen too. I somehow got mods crossed up with modman and it started failing on the countries.lua (I think) fiile. Anyway, I ended up doing the uninstall/reinstall thing to fix. Seems it had something to do with me using a Canadian skin. Once I reinstalled I ran the modman 'all countries' mod before installing any new skins. Has been solid since.

I tracked down the HDR bloom mod at Lockonfiles, however, how does one go about getting it into DCS. It appears to be for lockon only. Thanks, Nyxs

Wow. It seems it was my ATI card. Rather, I had Catalyst AI enabled. Once disabled, the error went away. I'm finding many games that don't like the AI enabled along with vista64. Maybe it will help someone... I am, however, blissfully running it at 2560x1600 4xAA 8XAF - everything maxed out now. This sim is beautiful. Cheers! Nyxs

I'm getting the launcher.exe error as well, but I'm also getting this message: \blackshark\blackshark.lua :198: Lua stack corrupted! File [luamodules\gui\widgettheme.cpp] line [636] I don't mind reinstalling if it's a corrupted file, but I hate to burn another activation. If I could find the file maybe I could delete it and reinstall over the top of my existing install and it would rewrite it. Suggestions on avoiding the 2nd pop on my renewal? Thanks, Nyxs
