Hey folks. Just installed the 1.1.0.9 patch, and did a ramp start. How can i display the TVV in the HUD? For now, i just get this little "depressible pipper" Greetings Chris

Sobek, can you please explain the principle a bit closer... -
Free flight mission. Landing extremely difficult.

I made it quite well after some training, and deploy the speedbrakes to around 30 to 50 percent. i dunno if its done like this in the real aircraft, but it helps me alot to keep the aircraft on a stable approach vector. -
Will this also give us some performence boosts for the folks with a slower computer? greetings

Hey folks. I practised a lot yesterday and the day before, and managed to get her back without tearing my gears apart. This thing is just frickin' damn cool, even without flipping the master arm. Thanks ED for this. Greets Chris

Set a small deadzone today, and the problem got slightly better. I recently run the Free Flight missions, both Ramp Start and Runway Start. I expected them to be "as easy as possible" regarding weather etc.

Hey there. I always have som silly yaw movement. It is ok when im on Ground, but once in flight i got a significant yaw to the right. i double checked my controller bindings but found nothing like a double - bind etc. Is there any solution for the problem? all other axes work fine.

Wasn't there any performance fix around here for DCSW, like the one which existed for DCSBS, where you had do change some settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel?

Just used that program (thanks a lot delta) and it told me, that i would need to upgrade my ram from 3.2 up to 4gb (i.e getting a 64bit os) all other parts should meet the requirements (since when does my graphics card have 2gb of memory???-.-) greets

Ok thanks, Sinky... Im planning to do a small upgrade this year, regarding my Cpu and Gpu... Due to my old Mainboard i will buy a Core 2 Quad and maybe a GF 470. And next year before my time at the university, im planning on getting a completely new Computer. Do you think that only upgrading my GPU should work fine for DCSW? If so, i could at least save some money... Greetings Chris

Ok, many thanks for your support... I will have a look at the game soon.

Hey folks, just a quick overview over my specs: Core 2 Duo @3ghz Geforce 8800GT 4 Gig RAM Win Vista 32 Bit Home Professional 22" Samsung SyncMaster 226BW I think it isn't recommended to run DCSW on that system? Greetings Chris

What the Heck is an airburst fuze? Does it mean that the Bomb explodes over Ground, so the fragments fly farther?
-
It happens when you call for a repair... Then those panels will automatically open.

There's an emergency release handle on the right hand side of the seat portion. Just pull this, and the harness gets unlocked so you can jump out. But i don't know, if the survival kit is also effected by this... IIRC its not.

Maybe you have to lower the gear? Or be at or under a certain speed in order to deploy the flaps to 30 degrees.

For me... a more realistic ejection sequence. I think, this one's pretty much on the bottom of the list, bit it would've saved my pilots life more often. Pointing at my thread regarding the same topic, there were some charts postet, and some guys even tested actual situations with quite "catastrophic" results. I recognised a lot of improvements regarding that topc in BS. After the last patch, the sequence was much faster and so seemed more realistic...and at last believable. I think it wouldn't be that hard to use the charts posted in my thread, taking some points out of there, and then loosely calculate the graph to get a similar curve as the charts. I know, this is not DCS:ACES II, but i think it's worth it.

This is Just Amazing. Einfach nur geil, was du da zusammengebaut hast. So ziemlich der Königsklasse der Heimsimulatoren.
-
Hey, i'm amazed that my former thoughts of "hey, this won't be noticed by much" turned out to be wrong. I think, it shouldn be that hard to model the seat after the charts and curves posted here. Also,i haven't asked for a 1:1 Simulation of the Seat, but just a greatly enhanced fidelity. If you want a real sim of all common ejection seats, there was a Korean guy who did so. Just visit http://ejectionseat.com.ne.kr/

Ok, i should have mentioned, that, all the above reffered to ejections were within the parameters imho.

Hey Folks, This one may be a small intereset, pretty much like the canopy sound thing, but i think its nevertheless important. As an Ejection Freak myself, also owning an Martin Baker Mk10 Seat, I think, an as-real-as-it-gets ejection sequence would greatly enhance the quality of the sim. It was annoying, that, in Black Shark 1.0 the Ejection Sequence was pretty much crap imho. The Pilot flew too long witout opening his chute, often causing death by slamming into the ground, pretty much looking like an OoP Ejection. You had to be at very high altitude, wenn facing downwards,or at medium altitude to successfully eject and survive I would really like the ACES II, which is used in the A10 to be modelled as close as possible, in order to avoid such disturbing events as described above. Greetings Chris

@MoGas: I'm also interested in a High Res Screenshot -
mhh, sounds pretty obvious, that the transports are waiting for you, to lead them to the alternate airfield. just follow tower instructions nex time, and i think you should be fine
-
I like the fact, that they overhauled the ejection sequence in the 1.0.1 patch. Now, the chute opens way faster, and so a 0 - 0 ejection always works, if standing upright^^.
