  1. Hi, I'm really enjoying the Radio Chatter add-on. Do you think it will be possible in the future to be able to make our own chatter files? Regards, Mac
  2. File structure has changed, answer here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=263584
  3. I have been away from DCS for a long while and amongst other things was checking the old kickstarter threads. Having donated at the time, I thought I would click on the links, even though they are years old. To my absolute surprise, I was given the option to choose a module and I now have the 190 Dora in my collection. Was not expecting that!!! I shall be purchasing the Channel map and P-47, to return the compliment! Thank you!
  4. That's great news, thank you! Mac
  5. Yes that worked, thank you - I run classic not aero desktop but changing to aero made everything work Thank you!
  6. Hi, New user here - great tool but I have an issue. Everything is working - I can use commands in DCS, but the Editor menu seems corrupted: http://www.mediafire.com/view/3s1qru7omxrhzfr/Vaicom.JPG/file What am I doing wrong? W7 64 and I have installed the required .Net and did the W7 registry fix. Thank you Mac
  7. Hi, I've downloaded a british voicepack but I'm still getting US voices in-game. Where is the correct location for modded voice files? I've tried replacing the current EN voice folder nested in Sounds folder in the main DCS directory: DCS World\Sounds\Speech\Sound\ENG\Common and also tried placing it in C:\Users\NAME\Saved Games\DCS\DCS_Sounds In fact, I removed the ENG folder completely but still got US voices, so pretty sure it must be elsewhere? A search of *.wav files on both DCS root and Saved Games folder doesn't show another location. This flying the Spitfire on Normandy map on current stable version. Many thanks, Mac
  8. OP was talking about assets pack, not flyables. +1 for these Channel essentials as 'supporting actors'. Regards, M
  9. Hi, Great information here, thank you. I have done the mod using a Bodnar 836X and it works great in DCS. Also works great with force feedback effects in IL2 1946. I didn't even need to bind the MSFFB2 axes to another axis in the game. One question though - it doesn't work in IL2 BoX. I can bind and use the 836X axes fine, but there is no force feedback. I can get force feedback if I also bind the MSFFB2 to roll and pitch, but then in-game the aileron and elevator seem to be responding to the MSFFB2 input not the 836X. There is no option in Il2 BoX to put a100% deadzone like in DCS, because the controller tuning is against the plane control not the joystick, so the deadzone affects both the MSFFB2 and 836X. Any ideas? One thought I had was to wire up some spare pots to the MSFFB2 input and disconnect the pots on the stick. That way, I might get force feedback and control from the 836X? Or maybe just no control at all Thank you UPDATE Ok I solved this - use Diview to give the FFB2 axes a 'zero' calibration i.e. set start mid and end points all to the same value
  10. Ok thank you, then I am better off using the axes on the Bodnar board as they are 12-bit native Regards
  11. Thank you for that quick reply, I will keep testing! I have another question, this one is about joystick axis resolution as I am confused - do I still need an external board to support 14-bit or is this now supported within MMjoy2/teensy 2.0? Thanks again M
  12. Hi, Firstly thank you very much for this software and detailed instruction. I am in the process of converting an old TM F16 FLCS handle with a Teensy 2.0 to go onto my Sidewinder FFB2. I have a question regarding how Windows sees the Teensy programmed with MMjoy2 - does it see a device with axes, even if there are only buttons allocated in MMjoy2? The reason I ask is that I also want to use the stick in Il2 1946, but this has a limitation of four devices with Axes. I already have four devices with Axes (FFB2, CH throttle, Bodnar 836x, Saitek rudders) Initial testing suggests that the Teensy/MMjoy2 device is not recognised in IL2, even if it's only set up as a buttonbox. I can of course map the buttons to keystrokes with xpadder or similar, but I was hoping IL2 would recognise the direct button presses from the Teensy board (I'm concerned about introducing latency for the firing buttons!) Thank you MC
