  1. Its just a crash to desktop mostly. Sometimes its a bluescreen and full PC reboot. I just flew for 10 minutes on 2 missions and it ran perfectly. I don't know. I played a few other graphic intense games to test hardware and I had no issues. I have also ran some 3dmark stress tests checking CPU, HDD, and GPU and it seems stable on those. I have had a few crashes to a reboot in the last week or so. Once was while watching youtube and another while doing a GPU stress test. I will keep an eye on it and if I need to, Ill just do a fresh windows install as my next test. After that, the next step will be the dreaded hardware isolation tests. Thanks for help.
  2. I just renamed saved games folder and for a while I was thinking I was good to go, then it crashed again running a player made mission in the F-15E on a hot start runway takeoff. dcs.log
  3. No mods, no scripts, bios and all drivers up to date, hyperthreading off, memory tested, fxo and metashaders2 folders cleared, slow repair complete (several times), DCS completely removed and fresh installed. I am very close to doing a fresh windows install. dcs.log
  4. Ok thanks for the advice. How about this crash? dcs.log
  5. I have been having a LOT of crashes lately. It will either crash to desktop, or total crash including PC reset. (this attached log was a total powerdown) I have done everything I can think of. It is mostly in the F-15E. I have, Updated Bios, set pagefile to 16GB, no mods or scripts, tweaked graphics, fresh install of DCS, stress tested GPU, tested memory. Here is the latest log. Anyone have any ideas? dcs1.log
  6. As of now, my solution to this is to snowplow the pod and then go through the waypoints again.
  7. Ok so I figured out why I was being locked out of the cockpit and only being able to watch the AI fly the jet, even with player and client set as option. When you first unzip the download to mods, Norton blocks this file and removes it ( VNAOT45FM.DLL ) So what you have to do is 1-Remove the mod (start over) 2-go into Norton settings a. antivirus b. scans and risks c. Items to exclude from auto protect d. add the file to the list 3-re unzip the mod 4-start the game and enjoy!
  8. First of all, great work Heatblur! Your overall work on the Tomcat is amazing! Thank you. But, I just wanted to provide a little of my feedback on the new A model and sounds. The first thing I noticed was in the instant action menu, there are only A model missions. You cannot select older B model missions. Unless I am screwing something up. The external engine sounds are better, but still not that great. I had to re-install my 3rd party tomcat sound mod as it has the real loud high pitch whine! You guys should look into that and copy it. I took the A up to 45,000 feet, clean, lit the burner, and barely pulled over mach 1. Ehhhhh, I don't think so lol. I know this is a known issue and others are reporting, but I haven't seen any response from HB. Other than that, it looks great! PS.....this is the first time I have seen an aircraft added that did not have its own download and subfolder. This will be tricky for mods and kneeboard etc....Kind of strange.
  9. Yes, because open beta version is a voluntary version to test on. It allows you to test and play with new toys a little sooner. It is good to have both versions installed, beta and main so you can play on main when beta is all jacked up. So yeah, it is what it is I guess.
  10. Yeah, the engine seems too quite to me also. I really have to crank up the volume to make me feel like I’m flying a real 2000HP radial engine.
  11. Here are some great training videos I found. I figured all you Jug fans would like these.... Enjoy!
  12. Hello. So I tried to fly this mission tonight on open beta. I also experienced the convoy getting stuck on the bridge, over the 3rd river. The suspicious vehicle was near by and just sitting there. I flew past it very low and the convoy said “looks like it worked, He is leaving” something like that. But the truck stayed there and the convoy didn’t move. I fast foreword the mission for 10 minutes and nothing. So out of frustration, I blew the truck up with a GBU, still nothing. Then I cannon strafed my own convoy. I was impressed I took the whole convoy out in one pass lmao. Not sure if I want to attempt this again with all the time invested to that point.
  13. Has anyone else been seeking information on mounting this HOTAS in a flight cockpit like this https://shop.volairsim.com/Volair-Sim-Flight-Racing-Sim-Cockpit-VS-01-2.htm ? I can not find any demensions on the Winwing websight for the throttle base. I noticed it does not have holes on the bottom to screw it in place. My main concern is the throttle height as it seems pretty tall even with lowering my Volair Sim throttle panel to its lowest. I am very interested in purchasing this, but am concerned about installation in my Volair Sim cockpit. Also, does the joystick mount have holes on the bottom for screwing this down? Or am I basically going to be using Velcro on throttle and stick securing?
  14. 100% supporter here! I would have paid a LOT more money for it, but shhhh, lets keep that between us lol. I am not complaining about anything so far, well done!
  15. Agree! I know it may be a tough time ED, but keep your chin up and stay motivated and positive. There are still a lot of people very happy and appreciative and the unhappy people will come around eventually. Good Job!
