Don't know what hotas you are using but I had the same issue with my x52. All my programming is done through software. I had to delete trigger function in software and bind it ingame leaving weapons release to the software. Now it works for me.

After programming first target and stepping to next adding N coord and hitting enter, a bogus E coord is automatically being add. Entering the correct coord will override with no problem but should not happen should it. It continues to every target step for me.

Ok ingame setting may be why you are able to lase and pickel at the same time. All my binding are through software. And I figured a work around by deleting trigger button in software and assigning ingame. Now I can trigger lase and release weapon with fire button still using software.

What software are you using. I was on the 64 7 0 27 13 and switched to the 64 8 0 213 because it seem's a little more stable.

Yea I tried holding fire then pressing weapon release and it does jump too. This is only a problem with the mav. I have tried reprogramming in software but it's still no go. Don't know what to think.

My not be per how real 18 works but I think ( laser ) should be coded to (on ) when trigger is boxed. Make it easy to turn on and off.

When holding trigger to lase and pushing ( fire ) button to release weapon is not happening. I am thinking that both will not work at the same time. When using mavs I have to lase with trigger and release weapon with keyboard keys. With gbu 12's, I can release weapon first then, then lase tgt and the bomb will guide too target. Is anyone else with x52 able to use both buttons at the same time.?

A carrier pratice mission with two escort ships set to same speed as carrier not keeping up. No mod installed Short trk included. You can see from cockpit as the ship falls behind. The same in both installs.

You can start without ground power, just using air supply. Battery on Request air Bleed air to off Request supply air Rgt engine switch on, wait for 15 to 20 percent throttle, to idle Do other neccessary step's after rgt start Making sure brake is set and hold brake if you have peddles Run rgt engine up to about 80 percent Lft engine switch to idle and the rest you know.

OK ask to apply air is what i missed.

Is been a long time since I tried ground power to start the f18. I tried with GP and Air connected thinking I should not need onboard apu, but no success. Does it work? Got all panel lit, now what.?

Turns out that my crashing had continued after a day or two from that last post, but the issue is completely fix now. Turn's out that my power supply was dying and I had tested it at the plug and checked voltages in my bios and the number looked good so I was looking at ever piece of hardware as possible problem for months. Finally last week after getting computer to boot I checked for kennel errors and found code 41 kennel power. Most info of found on internet pointed to PSU. So I broke down and purchased a new one and now my computer is running sweet. Oh the frustration I went through.

Getting more kills now that I am clicking on tgt and taking coord from the bottom left on map instead of mouse hoovering over tgt an taking coord form top left of map. Bottom seem more accurate.

I haven't been flying dcs much past few months because of computer troubles. Now fixed, but I deleted all my self-made mission and now I can remember how to get large view of stennis in mission editor. Thought it was click sat map but that is not working. Help Thanks

I also have usb question. I have 11 usb's connected when running dcs, 7 are sim related. Do you think that is too much.?

I have not hit a target yet in either OB or Stable. Taking coord from f10 map set to precision using 8 digit coord. Launching form between 21 to 22 thousand, and about 1/4 of the way inside max circle. All have hit long or short even though I tried having cursor in different positions, on or very near targets. Also I thought not having to move cursor on the map to get the precision coord was fixed. Do I have to choose precision in the data page first for coord to work. I have done repair.

Renamed OB folder as suggested, so far every thing good :smilewink: keeping my finger crossed. Thanks

I have had a problem flying in dcs since JAN. Problem began with cashing to desktop then progressed to complete shutdown of computer at different phases of load screen, too clicking on fly, if lucky enough to get that far. Once in a while I am able to fly a mission but more often, not. I am current on latest OB update. I have not tried a mission yet because if it shut's down I can't get a log. I am attaching a log that goes only as far as the home screen. So if you see anything that may be a standout problem let me know, or if it may warn't a reinstall. Last reinstall was just before F18 launch. Thanks
