It has been almost two months since I posted about this and it is still happening. Its gotten so bad that I think my motherboard is now damaged. It is taking me days some times to get my computer to reboot. I am having to reset my CMOS, go into BIOS and reset all my settings. Run DCS for a few hour and the next time I launch mission click fly, and or if I am lucky enough to get into cockpit, launch rearm refuel window, ( click ok ), bam comp shut down. Now when I get comp back up and running I leave it running 24/7. If I shut it down myself it my not boot. The shutting down is only happening with the F-18:mad:. I am borderline giving up on DCS. Doesn't happen any other time I am on my computer.

Is it broken after last update.? Flair Fov is not switching between immeters. Yes sensor select and TOO mode is selected, a/g on.

Are you on ( stable ) or ( open beta ). You won't find them in stable, and if you are on OB then you need to update or do repair.

Ok people, sorry I put you through this, but after a few day off and a update my ( impatience ) lead me to forget ( timing ) as in jdam alien. Thank you nineline for the kick in the butt:lol: to remind me. :thumbup::thumbup::pilotfly::pilotfly:

My have something to do with weather you have, baro or rdr alt selected.

NineLine have you watched my trk. PP1 releases and hit's near target, but the trk does not go that far. I have watched it in other test. Also if you watch close the L DDI you will see that I push pp2/3/4 more than once, and I even hold each for a while. Also as in my post I had no problem releasing all four and hitting tgt's before update.

Well here is a trk file. This is after I have done a complete reinstall of OB after having even more problems. Before the update I could drop four bombs with no problem. Clean install did not help.

Try rgt click drive, click properties, tools, check now. Wait for scan to finish. It will tell if error found or not. Hope that helps.

This has been happening to me for months when I click fly. Started out just crashing too desktop. Then after a couple of updates it would go too complete computer shout down and restart. It stopped doing it for a few weeks then started over again after last update. When I originally posted about it, the reply's were DCS loves ram. Well I doubled my ram from 16 to 32 and it didn't change the crashing still goes too complete computer shout down sometimes.

You do not want to have TR running when doing custom snap views saving. I am not sure if snapview lua is rebuilted during a repair or not but you can try copy past your current saved game config snapview lua somewhere for safe keeping just in case, then delete the one in saved games, run repair, restart computer, launch game, check if cockpit view has been restored. If not check if new snapview lua has been replaced in saved games. If that hasn't happened someone with a better idea will have chime in. Or uncheck user saved snapview's in game misl. Also remember to backup any lua files you are going to make changes to.

This miss has two a/c in it one start on carrier and one at BAT. The carrier has deck crew on it, so if you don't have that installed it will not work, and trk file's don't work either.

I have a jdam mission where I drop on tgt's at kuboleti training field using mgrs coord converted. PP1/2/4 bombs are dead on everytime from different altitude's, but PP3 is 3960 feet off, too the left every time when appro from Bat. Anyone else having issue with PP3 ?.

My entire folder has disappeared from my start menu/programs. I last looked at it two days ago and everything was their. Today i wanted to do a beta repair and found everything gone, but I am still able to launch and fly in both beta and stable from desktop icons. I would assume this is a problem with the updater or not. What the hey

Spent a lot of time programming four coord for tgt a kub training rwy flying out of batumi, got in the air and diamond and arrow were pointing in the south direction instead of north. Checked my coord on the f10 map and they are correct. Ok start over, program just one tgt using first coord, takeoff and the same thing. Anyone else have this happen to them.

I did buy before oct 2018 so I know I should still have it. My files and folders are still in install folder but the A/C is not in M/Manager. Repair doesn't fix. Have I missed something new. I am aware it't no longer supported but I should still be able to fly it.

After today OB update these are the only missions showing. Checked three maps I have and the same in all, missing missions.

I have been here numerous time, but I think I have figure why I can't ( IFF ). It's not turning on. Any ideas? Same results on ground and in the air. Yes I have tried repair. GOT IT working:)

Corrected the above. Well, after two weeks of trying to figure what I was doing wrong or not doing too ID bogeys, I decided to do a hot start instead of cold start of the mission I was working from and ( wala ) sure ID of bogeys. So now I can't figure what is wrong during cold start that I am not able to ID these bad guys. Yes I am turning on D/L and IFF. So now what?

I still can not get ID on a/c. I have watched videos read, and read thread but it's not working for me. I am wondering if my assigned SSDepress is not working. I have it as rgt alt+d, don't see any reason it should not work. I guess I need a step by step, button by button, instruction to get this.
