Just need to Paint the Exhaust Nozzle.. and last minute checking on the over all strength of the Battery tray Wood plate.. Might make tomorrow's maiden.. Hi the friends of the World. It's been a loong time since I have been here. Last post I did was over a year ago I guess. I come here looking for some help with one of you experts in color schemes. I have been doing the RC thing as the title of the OT thread mentions. I have finished building my SAAB JAS-39 Gripen and now I find myself debating what color scheme to paint it. I am ready for this last step in the building process and the Maiden has been scheduled for September 11 which is 2 Saturdays from now. Plenty of time in which to have it painted. I know I could just go on and paint it like the ETPS or the hand full of other color schemes that besides the ETPS are very boring. I need something that screams WOW!!! My mind and heart is asking for a Tiger Skin or Digital Camo or a Combo of the 2 schemes. Maybe some flames in digital going from the nose to wings, while the base coat would be in digital camo. Maybe some symmetrical design lines in Camo or a style like that. Could someone help me with this design input? I have at least 3 days in which to start something. I have the material needed to do all the decals and templates for airbrushing it. Please, if you could find the time to make me a quick design it would be greatly appreciated. Credit will be given and edited in it's maiden video that will be hosted on youtube. Please Help me if you can. Just a couple of ideas would be cool... I recently got started with RC Flying and Now I'm hooked on it. It's never too late to start. I'm a 43 year old rookie of the RC world. I went into it the cheapest way and by no means the easiest. By this I mean, I have not bought a ARF to a RTF plane. The way I started is. I bought me a 70 dollar Airtronics 6 Ch. Radio and RX. I went to a local RC shop and bought some 5g. servos a 2 to 5 Cell Charger, a Battery Ballancer, and CA Glue bottles with hardener and I ordered online an 3S 1800 Lipo Batt. Elect. Motor combo with charger. Yeap, I bought everything I needed to make my own from scratch out of Bluecor foam sheets. I have built 3 planes one has all the equipment and the others are waiting for a high gust of wind that will send adversary straight into the ground. The first one I built that I still fly is a Blue Angels F-22..... It took me 1 week working for about 2 hours a day to finish my first Foamy. Does anyone have any ideas how they compare? Anyone heard the positives and negatives of using such devices to get the immersion factor multiplied 3 fold? I got 200 dollars to spend for my Christmas present and i can't figure out what to get.. I'm an avid gamer of the PC FPS and Flight Sim Flaming Cliffs and soon BS. So, adding this to my PC would be a big plus. Now, I have no clue if they are good for your sight/eyes. Do they make you dizzy? Can your eye sight be damaged? I know what you mean Trigger. Viper is one of the best in our community. He knows that, what goes around comes around or Pay it forward. I have helped a fellow member before in such a manner. I kid from Brazil I met at another forum pm'ed me with a question about Joystick prices in the states. I gave Him 3 different prices, depending of what he needed. He chose the mid price one, but said that with the shipping cost would end up being around a 2 week pay period.. so, He would have to wait on that. Gullible or not.. I volunteered to buy and send Him the Joystick at no cost whatsoever.. Needless to say He was ecstatic.. Christmas had arrived half a year early for the guy.. He was just as happy as you are and it gave me a good feeling knowing I had helped and made a friend out of a stranger half way around the world.. My wife wasn't so impressed !!!

Ok, So I reformatted... I bought a new Video card. Settled on a SAPPHIRE http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102762 SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3650 512MB Reformatted my HD and reinstalled all my new games.. Crysis Warhead, Dead Space, Farcry 2, Crysis, Battle Field Series..all, Flaming Cliffs.. On Flaming Cliffs the install went uneventful. I installed Lock-On and then Flaming Cliffs. I patched it and activated it through lock-on.ru and my account. Got the StarForce driver uninstall utility and I'm now ready for anything. Flaming Cliffs looks like never before, upgrading from an ATI 850XT 256. All my games look amazing. Thanks guys for all the support.

Well, I just reformatted my Desk Top Tonight.. I have 4 activations left...

So, I had to set my computer up to a previous time... and now Lock-On dosn't work.. I have tried activating it 4 times in the past hour and I get this error.. ** Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library ** Runtime error! Programs: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\LockOn.exe abnormal program termination When I activate it I put my serial #____________ My Hardware Code ___________ I press Activate and it gives me an Activation Code... I take this activation code and I use it by.. Holding Shift Pressed while clicking on my Lock-On short cut.. I copy and paste the new Activation code and my serial #.. I hit Activate and It seems like it Activates it.. because the little Activating screen goes away.. I reboot and then Press on my Lock=On Short Cut.. BAAMMmmmm.... That error appears time and time again.. 2 hours ago I had 12 activating keys left.. Now I'm down to 7... WTH?
