Yes it'll have to be done ...but it will not be done in lomac :( maybe in the next project from ED we can have dual or MULTI processed system or even an conded sim to use 64 bits system advantages But my real dream is an sim that can use multiples processors from diferent machines and set what task all processors should take care something i can set: Processor 1 from machine 1 to control AI/FM Processor 2 from machine 1 to control Advanced AVIONICS like radar\ecm\ground cluter etc... Processor 1 from machine 2 to control wheater conditions to sea and sky Processor 2 from machine 2 to air and ground units but this is a dream maybe in a few years (10 or more) we can have this to domestic use

Btw i think the most important thing is the FM and missile FM model becaus it is a Militar SIM it should be the most acurate possible -

Apparently the polygon limit is for all LOD's . . . . and the Hornet only has the high LOD. Apparently. No the 50.000 poly count is only to LOD1 :!: the others lods are made by a percetual from its predecessor LOD se the first page to get more details on that 50.000 to first LOD that is :D -

The Devs have already posted the problems with the F-18 is because it dont have any LOD levels...and the SU-25 run much more smoot I think we will not have any problem even with an model of 50.000 polys of course we can always tune dow the settings in game to a bether fps....but even today i can rum lomac with full shadows 2x aa without major problems My concern about this are: 1-How many polys i will loose to get this kind of efect If it is a great NUMBER of polys i think is bether expend it in other kind of details another point about the efect i have looked some pic of real aircraft and we can see just some lines...i mean the LINES arent not so DEEP just a twin line. the most important part IMHO are the rivets...and this really made a good skin i think this efect (rivets) cant be made in the model...so we have to still making it on the skin 2-IF the Panel will increase to much teh cpu cicles because of the new areas to SHADOWNED ( I realy dont know if this last word exists :D ) This are my only concerns about this feature just one question LOMAC suport Bump mapping in skins ?? -

Given that the highest LOD of these new models will be high anyway, I don't see why adding a relatively small number of polygons would impact the performance much. I'd rather have a model with more detail (and that means actual details, not just ultra smooth cones ;) ). Rather that than a texture that is supposed to make up for a lack of geometry. Welcome to the 21st century :lol: Agree...but my only concern is about FULL SHADOWS active...i think the rivets will cauyse a some kind of shadow also..soh more cpu cicles... but maybe 77-strike max can make the panels a litle less DEEP .... and only visible in LOD0 ...but i really think we should wait a response from the devs..but oh man it is really NIceeee :D -
