  1. I'm working on it....tell me what you want to do in Accurate Strike mission....I count 10 targets, so you know you can't take them down just with Mavericks and by yourself...I see three vehicle groups as the targets....I don't speak Russian (Cyrillic) but the groups look like this "cyrillic name" , then "Cyrillic name #001, and finally "cyrillic name #002"...do you want to address them in a particular order? And why all of the waypoints for the Predator (36)? You can issue a command to orbit thereby circumventing the need for loiter waypoints...which targets do you want to take out first with your MAVs?
  2. Ok DeathAngel1, I fixed the mission you were originally referring to...try it and the comm is 138 and I'll take look at this one here Hornet CAS (1).miz
  3. DA1, I ran the mission Hornet_CAS.miz and the comm to the predator is fine...please send me a copy of any CAS mission with ground based JTAC and I'll look at it....otherwise I can't help you if I don't see how your mission is set up
  4. The Hornet_CAS.miz? That one you definitely cannot connect with the JTAC...is that correct? Meanwhile, here is Wag's Mission that I edited using a Predator instead of the HMMVV as JTAC https://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=197786&d=1542138745
  5. Send me a copy of a mission you have that can't connect with a ground based JTAC, and I'll look at it
  6. Yeah here's Wag's mission edited by using a Predator MQ-1A as the JTAC....I had to change the JTAC name to "Dodge", but the comm is the same 131.000 MHz AM...The Predator orbits at 10K about 3nm out from WPT 2 Caucasus FA-18C AGM-65E Maverick Practice.miz
  7. Why not use the predator? No LOS problems...can be placed further away than a HUMVEE and can be set as invisible
  8. 127.500 AM or 131.000 AM ? Have you set either of these freq. ?
  9. With the Predator drone, to avoid the "Abort" command, you must declare SPOT after you've locked the target, and then IN, to declare direction the missile is approaching from....At this point, you will get authorization as "Cleared Hot" to release the weapon ("RIFLE")
  10. I tried a variation of this Predator JTAC mission where I carried two AGM-65Es and four MK-83 bombs....very strange...I was pretending that the first two kills were a standoff elimination of airfield defenses and wanted to go to the free-falls to mop up...oddly enough JTAC ordered me to use the GUN to take out these last two BTRs instead of the MK-83s...naturally, I disregarded that and when I used the 83s, I got a "forbidden" message....I suppose I could have checked/signed out with the predator and then bombed the two remaining targets, but why wouldn't the Predator tell me to use the bombs rather than the GUN rounds? It can't be because the drone can't lase the tgt for free-falls, because it can't do that with the GUN rounds either....which makes me wonder if i DID actually have air defenses, would the predator know enough to target them first???
  11. Try this: Targets in vicinity of WPT 1 Laser Mav Test.miz
  12. Don't know why you'd use a ground based JTAC when the predator has a MUCH greater LOS and you don't risk the lives of troops on the ground
  13. If you're still having trouble, here's a video link
  14. After you ask LASER ON, and you've got a target locked, you must respond with SPOT and then IN...you'll then get the CLEARED HOT authorization
  15. Were you airborne? Was AG Mode selected? Was Master Arm On? Was MAV selected in Stores Page in DDI?
  16. That reminds me...wasn't there a way to save your loadouts at the Refuel/Rearm screen with the "Save" button invisible but to the lower left of the menu? It was like this with A10C iirc, long time ago...How comes we still can't save loadouts at that menu? Thought they would have fixed that by now
  17. Sometimes we have snowflakes early in the year...:)
  18. Nice thanks, now how high can you have the predator and what range max? I'd hate to have that shot down by airfield defenses before I get to IP...the one you have there looks pretty low
  19. Thanks Gladman
  20. Would love it...I think airborne JTACs would have a better LOS...enemy targets that are out of sight by mountain range, could be engaged by a low altitude Hornet on the other side of the ridge, if the targets could be lased by the airborne platform....ground based JTAC Humvees can't do this
  21. But the IA mission does not track moving targets...would like to see all kinds of ground engagements...also what about airborne JTAC lasing...can we have that?
  22. now what about moving targets? anyway to test that?
  23. So will the cue be eventually put in or is there no shooting cue? What does the Harrier have?
  24. Thank God, I just smoked a fatty....it's all making sense now....
  25. No, he first says that the "movement shown in the video is related to the aircraft firing the laser. Not the launching aircraft." Suggesting a buddy lase But then he says, " In my video I launch a Maverick from a Harrier with a TPOD which is also lasing the target." Suggesting that HIS plane is ALSO lasing. So I need to have that cleared up
