  1. Thanks for postng your profile dieseiner, much appreciated, I wish more people would do that too. Unfortunately I cant really fly with your profile. As soon as I press the trimmer, the stick throws itself back like 0.5 cm. Do you experience that as well?
  2. Those are the producer notes on youtube, not the actual training tracks.
  3. Ahh, didn't even know it was an unofficial cockpit, my bad. I still think that as long ED offers a choice of cockpit language, it should also offer a choice of the language ekran uses. Makes it a bit more logical imho.
  4. Thanks for your work dragon. I simply don't understand why ED made an English cockpit, but then make the ekran, wingmen and tower speak Russian
  5. Could perhaps some people who have had success with the 5.09 patch export their logitech profile and post it here? Thanks in advance.
  6. Just tried it, and it is indeed tighter, but the core problems of the g940 are still alive: - mini-stick is still useless, even with a 75% deadzone - ffb trim is only 'working' correctly upto 200km/h. If i wanna go faster I need to push the cyclic further, but the trim doesnt keep the joystick there... - I still don't have a deadzone where I just trimmed. For example in the ctrl-enter image the deadzone I add, be it in lgs or dcs, is only active where the horizontal and vertical line meet, it doesn't move up with the trimmed position. The only good thing is the reduced slop. I could actually get in a perfect hover with ffb-trim this time. But still, I was unfortunately expecting more from 1.0.2 and 5.09 :noexpression:
  7. I haven't been able to find the changelog, any idea where it is?
  8. Link Good news, I hope 5.09 was worth the wait.
  9. I think it's nice that you can buy it as 1 package now (if you're lucky enough to be an American of course), but I'm kinda fuzzy on some of the details: - Un-official expansion, seriously? - Since "Lock On: Gold" had lomac+fc1, can I assume that platinum actually has lomac+fc1+fc2, or is this just "Lock On: Gold, Redone"? - What kind of DRM will there be, since Ubisoft has quite the fetish for that stuff?
  10. I'm surprised too why this isn't working for me and it is for you. Afaik, I'm not the only one with this problem. I even reinstalled BS today and checked behaviour in 1.0.0 and 1.0.1, and no luck at all. Perhaps a list of version numbers (BS, logitech software, etc), exported logitech profile, or maybe even a track could help.
  11. It was actually enabled, but as far as I know that option would be overridden anyway because ffb trim is not related to the "0.5sec to center" and/or "wait till centered" trim logics, which this option sets. I did disable that option though but yet again, no luck here so it must be something else?
  12. It's very possible and very preferable for people who hate leading AI in dcs, like I do. I just started playing the deployment campaign, but whenever I have a mission with an AI wingman, I just convert the mission to a 4 player coop, and play it with a friend instead. Here are some missions I have converted already (discaimer, I'm new to the mission editor as well, so it could have a bugs or two, and I haven't edited the triggers yet). co_04_Deployment_2.miz co_04_Deployment_3.miz co_04_Deployment_4.miz co_04_Deployment_5.miz
  13. I can't seem to be able to replicate that behaviour when I disable the profiler. edit: I even uninstalled it, rebooted, and still no dice with a deadzone set in dcs.
  14. I've had the g940 for over a month now, and I never knew it had a dual trigger  Thank you too for the info :D

  16. Only thing I can think of is that ffb might be enabled. Double check if ForceFeedbackEnabled is set to false in \Black Shark\Config\Producer.cfg.
  17. I didn't expect them to come with new features considering they're working on a totally new game software package, but let's hope they're decreasing ffb slop and perhaps a "moveable deadzone" so our sticks are not that sensitive anymore in a trimmed position.
  18. edit: posted in the wrong one :(
  19. You probably put on too much collective, causing rotor rpm to drop below 80%, and because of that the AC generators could not power the doppler radar anymore (which supplies you ground speed indication on the top-left of the HUD). If that happens the systems shut down until there is enough power again, and then it will reboot (which takes its sweet time too!). What I usually do is get in a hover from too far away, just like you, to do some recon, and once I've locked on the most important target I see I disengage auto-hover, fly forward at like 100-200 km/h, and then I just wait until I get within 7km's before I fire. But you should probably practice getting in a hover more often, and watch outside of the window for more cues as to what your heli is doing. You can definitely use what EtherealN is saying as it will force you to watch more outside.
  20. If the nv control panel doesn't work for you, you should try out nHancer.
  21. Yeah, my explanation was a bit lacking, but hopefully everyone "gets" it now. Btw, I don't think this should be done by the manufacturers. This whole trim system only exists in DCS: BS, and afaik not a single other game has anything like it. Therefor I believe it is something that ED needs to fix, so it would be nice if an ED dev can give an answer if the deadzone can be set wherever in the joystick's range.
  22. So your deadzone and curve settings are transferred to that new position too? edit: this is what I want with my G940, hopefully a picture will clear it up:
  23. It's not that center I'm talking about lava. I want what the OS/game sees as the "physical joystick center" to move up. That "physical joytick center" is where the start of the deadzone will start for example. @manne, you don't need to recenter your joystick if ffb mode is enabled. You can press the trim button as many times as you want in a new position, it wont double the value or something.
  24. It would be really nice indeed if the joystick center would move up with the trimmed position. It would actually fix a lot of problems I've been having with the g940. I also don't believe that in my case waiting for logitech to reduce the ffb slop in the next driver version is gonna fix this problem. It will help, but I think what all the ffb-trim users need is a deadzone and the beginning of a positive input curve on the "new" joystick center after trimming. Wags, can you tell us if moving the center to the new trim position would be possible, and if so, would ED implement it for a future patch?
