My VR Headset is a Oculus Rift S
DCS World is always kicking its ass in one way or another.
I ordered a "CABLE MATTERS" Display Port converter to USB TYPE C to hook up my Oculus Rift S to my RTX 2080 TI Video Card to see if it would make any difference and it did.. Way less stuttering in heavy loaded mission maps and better FPS Also ????? I see NO one Bench testing this and would love to know why this connection seams to be overlooked and not on anyone's radar or even talked about if it is so much better the a Display Port connection for VR. I hope some of you BIG BRAIN VR Lovers jump on this and post back your findings. I would love to see some bench tests of Display Port vs USB TYPE C Display port connection. If you have a Rift S and a Video Card that has a USB TYPE C port I'm thinking you should try this out too. And the CABLE MATTERS converter was the only one I seen that Said IT WORKS with the OCULUS. I would think they all would but that's the only reason I bought that one from Amazon for about 13 US Dollars.
