  1. SUNTSAG, I know this is an older mod but is there a way that I could add the new stuff to it, like the supercarrier and a few small naval vessel mods I've downloaded?
  2. In all maps, a large part of the time when I place an aircraft. This copy or ghost appears, I can't select it or delete it from the map. It's just a copy of the actual unit I placed. I have to exit the ME and restart. Here is screenshot, I have a 2 ship flight, I moved it over so the non interactive copy can be seen below it. These are the only placed units on the entire map.

  6. It's strange when you're so addicted to DCS, that. You're chasing a fly through the house, with an electric fly zapper. And you're thinking that if you were in a fly sized Viper, you would be too close for missiles and would have already switched to guns! Anyone else have "obsessed moments" like that?

  9. was hoping for some direction. Is there a way to designate/assign a map object as a target? Where it's status and destruction would be tracked and returned as a completed task? I'm building a couple historically based missions and, the targets are stationary structures. They're modeled on the map, so would like to assign a value to the map object itself. Instead of placing my own static object. Thanks.

  11. Finding some highway bridge and railway trestle anomalies, just in case they've not been found. Mainly in northern Syria, a number of rail river crossings missing and floating highway bridges. Nothing major, thanks again for the great map Ugra.
  12. UHF ARC-159 freq mode switch is backward, GUARD selects PRESET, and PRESET selects GUARD (Redact, already addressed)
  13. Got tired of the poorly designed (lack of centering and resistance) mechanism on my x56. But I'm satisfied with everything else. So drilled 4 small holes, corresponding with the base mounting holes, on the locking collar. And added 4 small springs, attached them to my mounting bolts and it worked out really good. I can stay way more stable in precision flight, especially AAR. The resistance increases nice and evenly when adding more input. The stick stays centered much better on it's own, was able to drop my deadzone settings. The springs I added are only about 1.5 lbs resistance. I'm going to change them out with some that are just a bit stronger when I get a chance to go to the hardware store. But for such an easy mod, it has made a big difference. For me anyway.

  16. Creating a mission, working on learning MOOSE. Wondering if there is a way to randomly spawn and "clean up/despawn", patrolling ground units within a mission ZONE? i.e. create the ground unit templates - late activation - randomly spawn and randomly route themselves or "patrol" only within the zone, and the zone is pretty large. I'm not sure which MOOSE class to start with, to maybe learn how to make this happen. thanks

  19. This has probably been asked, but I can't find any information on it. While in the ME, right mouse clicking on any structure will bring up a menu option, "Assign As". Could someone explain what this allows you to do, or provide a link maybe that explains what it is used for? Other than just placing a zone.
  20. the lighting in the Harrier is terrible, it's useless to try and use the moving map @ night, it's blinding, at least implement working contrast and dimming controls, putting the MPCDs in night mode makes it even worse, it's like opposite day
  21. thanks for the reply @ ChillNG. If you would want to test it, that's great! I have tried a few different methods involving flags and message to actions. I can't find anything that does this though. I have a mission that I'm wanting to add zones to. When any unit enters the zone, there is a message displayed to that unit alone, instead of the entire coalition. I can use "msg to group" and add the action for every single aircraft group, which in my mission I only have one aircraft per group, I had planned on running this mission in a mp server. So that would be a lot of individual actions to assign. I have done it b4, but I thought there may be a quicker way. Would be sweet if there were a trigger action to: "display msg to any blue unit entering zone" "display msg to any red unit entering zone" "display msg to any red or blue unit entering zone" I know it's not a big deal, just thought it may be a nice action to have someday.
  22. Is there a way to display an on screen msg to any unit that enters a certain zone? I usually have to assign an individual msg action to each player unit in a coalition. Is there a way to basically tell DCS, "whenever a unit of x coalition enters this zone, display a message to that unit?
  23. Yeah, I was wanting to make some video content. But I guess it's not gonna work:mad:. That's crazy how it completely deviates from, what I thought was recorded. But I guess it's actually coded as if AI completely reflies the entire mission, or tries too, tit for tat. Anyway, thanks for the heads up

  25. Been trying to watch some tracks after finishing flight. While watching, my aircraft starts doing crazy shit. Doing something completely different than what happened in the mission. Latest is 1v1 against ai, guns. After splashing the ai, I quit and watched track. While I watched the track, right after the merge. My F-14 divs to a completely different flight path from the mission, ends up defensive and plows into the dirt. Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or what causes this? Thanks
