  1. I bought a MSSWFFB2 and was wondering if there is additional software I will need. Has anyone put a TM:WH A-10 joystick on this FFB base? Thanks
  2. Motion Simulator Community (xsimulator.net) This is where you want to ask those questions.
  3. There's probably an old office chair somewhere you can use. Maybe at work? the hydraulic cylinders always seem to go out before the chair breaks.
  4. I thought you were referring to some new info. Got my hopes up there for a few minutes...
  5. Does each board have a unique hardware address programmed into the chip? I've read that some people make boards identical to one another and that causes issues like you are describing. I think Leo's are addressable through his software. Just a thought.
  6. I believe the inference might be that you are a product ambassador for Pimax. Like Sweviver is. Not a completely illogical assumption considering.
  7. In VR they are impossible to read. I'm working on a solution now. The dds files are done differently that the old model but I think I have it figured out. I was able to clean them up and make them legible but was having some issues with the alpha layer. I messaged Elliott88 (who made the font mod for the old A-10c) but he has not responded. Fingers crossed...
  8. Here's the A-F on the CDU. very legible and significantly brighter even without any zoom from normal seated position. So I'm going to do all the writing and numbers on both side panels and the MIP to include the gauges. I kinda needed a little project so this should be cool. So I'm using snip to capture these pics because I don't know how to take a snapshot. How do I take an in game screenshot?
  9. The bigger text mod altered the A_10C_EDM_TEX.zip file. While that file is still in the texture folder is no longer being used. I commented it out and ran the sim with no issues. The new file is A-10C-2019-CPT-TXT.zip. I modified the a10c_cpt_dash_right_Diffuse.dds file in the zip with Paint.net to get that red A. I'm currently trying different sizes and boldness of the MS33558 font to make the writing more legible. I have to test it both lighted and not lighted to see how well I works. I'll let you all know how it goes.
  10. Did that. although this particular mod doesn't mess anything up, it is just ineffectual. It is the bigger text mod by Elliott88. It would seem that those graphics are now in three other dds files of another folder. I tried modding one to see what is what but I don't know what the compression method is of the A-10C-2019-CPT-TXT.zip file. So it just craps out the entire cockpit. Do you know what compressor they are using? EDIT:Wooho0, figured it out. Now to get to work on some more legible text.
  11. That did it. Framerate is still good. It's a bit dark though. I was using a mod that made everything much more legible in the cockpit. I'm assuming it won't work any more. Everything is a bit blurry and unreadable now. Going to go see if I can do anything abut that.
  12. I downloaded Skatezilla's tool and says that the latest version is the one the I have. Yet the cockpit looks the same.
