  1. I would like to have Harpoons or HARM for the F-18 with Mig29 cockpit. I´ve tried to make these missiles tv-guided, but it doesn´t work.

  3. I found a way to launch a/g missiles like mavericks or tv-guided bombs from the F-15C in FC3. Ok, it´s not very realistic, but much better than flying western fighters with russian cockpits to launch guided a/g missiles. The F-15C has no air to ground mode (key 7) so you have to copy the keyboard.lua from the su-27 or Mig-29g and paste it into the input/F-15c folder. I replaced the joystick folder of the Su-27 as well. Ok, your F-15C now has an air to ground mode. Be sure to backup the original folders of course!! Next thing is to edit the CustomHuman.lua to give the F-15C the a/g radar from the Su-27. CustomHumanData[PlaneType.F_15 ] = CWSType.iCWS_Su_27 Don´t worry, with changing this, your F-15 will not have an Su-27 cockpit! It still has the F-15C 3d pit, but with a radar and a/g abilities like the Su-27. The only thing you have to do now, is to equip the F-15 with a/g missiles like mavericks. Open the F-15C.lua and add the lines: { CLSID = "{444BA8AE-82A7-4345-842E-76154EFCCA46}" }, -- AGM-65D { CLSID = "{51F9AAE5-964F-4D21-83FB-502E3BFE5F8A}"}, -- GBU-10 or { CLSID = "{B4FC81C9-B861-4E87-BBDC-A1158E648EBF}" }, for KH-29T tv-guided missiles. Now your F-15C is ready to strike! Create a simple mission to destroy a SAM launcher, a few tanks or a ship. Press 7 for air to ground mode and select mavericks or KH-29T for large targets like ships. Press O to activate the optical system and move the crosshair onto the target. Press enter to lock. When the target is in range, fire. This works great with a wingman. Order him to switch the radar on and he detects ground targets very soon, so it´s much easier to aim on a target with a rhomb. The screenshot shows an attack on a ship, my wingman has detected. As you also see, I made some changes on the cockpit. The radar on the right is fake just like the map on the right. I repainted that only for the reason that originally the radar and the TEWS are black due to the cockpit changes. As I said, thats not reality, but way better as flying F-15 or other western planes with russian cockpits.
  4. Does somebody know how to make buildings longer visible in DCS World or FC3? I think they disappear too soon when flying over the cities. Which entry in the graphics.cfg is responsible for the disappearing of the buildings?
  5. AGM 65D Mavs work without problems! Simply add this line to the Ka-50.lua. { CLSID = "{DAC53A2F-79CA-42FF-A77A-F5649B601308}" }, -- LAU-88 AGM-65D*3
  6. Thanks, works great. But, how did you make the Shturm-missiles work? What did you change in the missiles_data.lua? Is it possible to make air-to-air missiles work? In reality the KA-50 can launch R-60 and R-73 missiles.

  8. I think first we have to make the mod work. I´m obviously not the only one the Apache is not working for. I suppose there´s something wrong with the entry.lua. The entry.lua is responsible for the entries in the mission editor.
  9. Still not working. Under main menü options controls the Apache appears. All keys assigned. But in the mission editor, helicopter group, USA, Type, there´s no Apache selectable. Only AH-64A and AH-64D and KA-50 als flyable chopper of course. The Apache_D folder is in DCS World/Mods/aircrafts where also are the folders Flaming Cliffs, A-10C, KA-50 and Su-25T. Correct? I copied the KA-50/bin content (4 files) into the empty Apache_D/bin folder. Correct? Of course I´ve activated BS2. Sorry, don´t know what I do wrong.
  10. I have BS2 activated in DCS World. Both version 1.2.2 (the latest). Nevertheless no Apache entry in mission editor anywhere. Only AH-64A and AH-64D. Look at the content of the entry.lua in the Apache_D folder. It looks messed up in comparison to the entry.lua in the KA-50 folder or the Su-25t folder.
  11. I´ve installed it as the readme told me. The Apache icon appears in the menu, but I can´t fly the AH-64D. No Apache under USA in the mission editor, only AH-64A and AH-64D. Surely I have DCS World and BS2 1.2.2.

  13. I´ve done a Eurofighter Typhoon cockpit based on the MiG-29G pit. It´s of course not perfect and I still need help for some things like making a realistic looking HUD holder or removing this little white circle with the cross within on the left side. I don´t know the name of this .tga texture.
  14. Some of the textures don´t work. I think the Czech special signs on the texture names cause that problem. Bocnypanellawy and Pravybocnypanel. Maybe you could rename them.
  15. You may use the SU-27 or Mig-29 pit with the SU-33 keyboards folder (to use the arrestor hook on carrier landings). It works for me.
  16. An F-35A would be cool!
  17. I managed to make this baby flyable for FC2. It replaces the SU-33.
  18. Has somebody done a Rafale for FC2.0? I know a French guy has made this plane for FC1, but I would like to see this plane in FC2.

  20. Also ich habs fast aufgegeben mit der A10. Ohne Easy Avionics brauchste ja fast nen Hochschulstudium, um auch nur eine Maverick erfolgreich abzufeuern! Die Entwickler hätten besser nen echten Multirole-Fighter für Luft- und Bodenangriffe wie die F-16 machen sollen. Die A-10 (wenn auch nicht die A-10C) gibts doch auch schon in FC2.

  23. I´ve changed the hornet cockpit a bit, so there´s no more "stolen" Microsoft FSX stuff within. BTW it looks a bit cleaner now. I can release it if you want. No Problem.
  24. I think making other choppers flyable (with the KA-50 cockpit) couldn´t be a big problem. Remember the extra flyable aircraft mod for Flaming Cliffs2. Black Shark has the same graphic engine. But it´s possible to fire all unguided rockets, all free falling bombs and as western missiles the AGM65E Maverick and the AGM114 Hellfires. Unfortunately you can´t launch any AA missile.
  25. I did it using F-18-textures of the Flight Simulator X. Here´s the cockpit of the F-18A. There isn´t already a mod, but the chance is good to release it one day.
