You dont need or desire an stt lock. That informs the bandit of your lock. The WCS targets and prioritises the aim54 launch via TWS data. Worked fine before. Edit: thought you were suggesting how to fire. Apologies, yours should have fired too. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

I was in TWS, jester RIO no Datalink enviroment, bogies hooked on the TID with IFF and launch assignments designated. Conditions completely as always previously with no issues launching. In fact as I said you could launch a phoenix without any lock at all previously as I have many times for vanity screenshots. Example attached Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

I also notice that now you cannot fire them without a lock on a target. Before you could just loose them off into the ether without issue. Not that you do in battle I just used to do it to take nice screenshots! [emoji41] That says to me that some code has changed regarding launching them though. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

I was out on a sortie last night with my squadron when engaging the enemy the aim54C's I was carrying refused to fire. Everyone else in the squadron could fire but I couldn't. I inevitably was destroyed. I tested the missiles on another mission straight after I logged off and this time worked fine, although the 3 second hold now feels like 10. Having the pheonixs be hit and miss as to whether they are going to launch is very disconcerting when going into battle. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

As per the title. The SW no longer emits a SEAM tone when locking up in the F14. Please get this back for me!

I just find it easier to glance at a tablet screen just in front of me than have to move my head down to glance on screen is all. So how do you export the value for it?
-
Is there a way to export the fuel flow to a separate screen. When flying formation I have a hell of a time trying to keep a bead on the outside world and the fuel flow gauge which is really low down?
-
When I'm hit I survive to eject from the F14 95% of the time.

Just setting up my new VFX grip and when testing it shows the positions on the weapons selector to be sent as 'on' for each position. This will be viewed in DCS as being constantly pushed. Am I right in thinking that this will prevent me from setting up the binds in DCS as it will always see that button as pressed? Am I panicing over nothing?
-
Ok excellent. I'll give that a try.

Bogies about 30 to 40 miles out hot. TWS mode multiple targets auto designated and 54s launched. If I keep the lock on them all the way in they hit pretty much every time however if I crank from the target to engage anything else the 54s fly off into the night and miss. Maybe I need to do more research.

Since when? Whenever I break lock early the aim54 just tootles on and misses every time.

Playing devils advocate I guess they would sell much fewer of their more expensive stick/bases if they kept the Gladiator Pro in the range. -

Do you think that there is any chance of a gladiator pro for EU any time soon? I like the idea of the cam gimbal and swappable grips. -

Would the two hats and mouse stick on my x55 throttle not suffice in addition to the one on the stick? I also can have modifiers for the single hat in the stick? -

True, however on Ebay at the moment the only one in the UK is £150 which is 50% more than the VKB Gladiator. Would the CH stick still be better? -

The issue is I hear it has a hard centre detent which to me is offputting. I like my stick move off centre easily so fine adustments are natural but have some stiffness moving away. I don't know that the CH will do this from what I heard. My wife is a diamond and she doesn't spend her cash or mine on sich things. She often sacrifices money she has been saving to pay for something needed for the kids or house. I feel a little guilty slapping down £400 on a flight stick when she has just spent her savings on some new clothes for the kids. True My wife is awesome and would never say I couldn't have it. Makes it worse sometimes though as my conscience says have to 'do the right thing' haha. I guess this is more an issue of my mental state regarding sticks. -

Glad your doing so well! I have many other hobbies, family, mortgage and all that to deal with. Money only goes so far. I could save up but if I said to the missus, here look at this £400 joystick I'd never hear the end of it. Agreed! I like the idea of upgrading the gladiator later but I thought the upgrade kit to allow other grips was now discontinued? Or do I just bite the bullet save up and sneak the VKB or Virpil in the house? -
So. I have been using a thrustmaster T fight hotas x for about 5 years and it to be fair has served me well. However I have now gotten bitten by the DCS bug and dont feel that th stick quite cuts it regarding fine control. I recently picked up a used x55 throttle which needs repair but I have no issue doing that, however I need a stick to go with it. I have been reading around and the scare stories basically boil down to get a Virpil/VKB or go home. Now I would love a gunfighter 2 with MCG grip or even better the new Virpil F14 replica as I pretty much exclusively fly the F14 now, but damn they are expensive. I just don't think I can sneak that past the missus. As a compromise I have been looking at the VKB gladiator mk2 as a compromise. Is it a good choice or is there another stick I am missing out on? PS I don't like the look of the TM 16000M despite how good it is. The VKB looks more like a proper stick. Regards FC

I can't find many Caucasus campaigns/missions for the F14 though. I will look at the NTTR map though for sure. -

Hi Beppe. I solved the issue. It seems that my ability to read is in question! Haha. I didn't realise that the campaign required the NTTR map. I don't have that one. I only have Caucasus so far which doesn't seem to have many missions/campaigns made for it. It would be nice for people to make more for the default map I think. Anyway thanks all for your patience. Ok everything is as been suggested and the missions are not visible in game in any menu. In the mission file I can see the folder but it contains nothing. What could be wrong? -
