  1. When will the map be available on Steam? Sent from my 2107113SG using Tapatalk
  2. It is very weird I agree but likewise, who cares really, it's not like you are really ejecting and might be killed by the stabs?
  3. I second this, spending 5 mins setting up the MFDs at the start of every mission is a real PITA.
  4. I have seen this also. Flying along autopilot on while I go heads down to sort out MFD's. Head back up and I've dropped by 5000ft. Yet sometimes holds just fine.
  5. I don't know, I'm a cat pilot and whilst I love how the 15 is flying in the most part I do see what the OP is saying regarding nose bob. The cat never does this and I'm trimming that bad boy every 2 seconds to keep it right. The 15 however as soon as you release to centre stick regardless of trimming the nose bobs down and then up and then down then up and then settles. Never had that happen in the tomcat.
  6. This is great for group missions where one squadron maybe tasked with recce or similar which will then be fed into the brief for the next sortie as part of the group. I am pretty excited by this.
  7. Works perfectly, never realised that was even an option!
  8. Can you elaborate? The only option for speedbrake that I see is speedbrake on, speedbrake off, speedbrake on/off toggle. As my slider is a latching switch its either on or off. It gives no input in the off position to map speedbrake off so I have it as toggle which then only works when I slide it on, I then have to slide it off and back on and then back off again to put the speedbrake in.
  9. Cougars working fine for me. They didn't auto bind like they did in the Harrier for me though.
  10. As per the title. I have a latching slider on my X55 that I want to use as the speedbrake but at the moment I have to set it as a toggle and slide it on and off then on and off again to operate the speedbrake, I just want to slide it on and then slide it off.
  11. Nice work. That gave me a nice early morning chuckle.
  12. 110% this. Just used it for the first time and couldn't believe that you can't take co-ords from the ME while building the mission. Please get this added ASAP?
  13. Nice, mine were at a local air museum to me, it was an open day and it was free to sit in them if you queued.
  14. I've sat in a Vulcan bomber and a Lightning, and tootled about in a Nimrod but that's it for me sadly.
  15. I'm beginning to think this.
  16. I would consider a few to be 3 to 4 months max. When I say a few I do not mean 5 or more.
  17. Yes agreed, I think the F4's canopy front is pretty much the same as the F-14, so suggested it for visibility comparison.
  18. Try tanking in the F14, that will give you an idea what the visibility is like in the F4 for tanking.
  19. I'd be interested to see how these bindings work in DCS with a TM F/A-18 grip?
  20. Pilot models are a great idea and then you have one and go, wow that looks nice, now where is the hide pilot key?
  21. Not hinted to by RAZBAM but plenty of confident speculation in the WIP thread from November onwards. Just seems to have dragged on since then.
  22. And also it was hinted that it would go on pre-order just after Christmas and be released into EA in January'ish. Now it's almost as though it may be another 6 months away. My excitement has wained I must say. Why even bother with anything until it's ready to go. [emoji849] Sent from my 2107113SG using Tapatalk
  23. I get that but I would like to pre-order so that is in the bag so to speak.
  24. Or do steam anyway and make it 20% on there instead of 30% if that was an issue. Surely any % of something is better than 0% of nothing?
