VMFA-Blaze

I've been trying to run DCS in VR now for quite a while with no success.. I've been all over the internet regarding this. What I get is a brown box Picture with 2 or 3 partial pictures. I did load DCS in the OCULUS Rift in their site but I cant get a picture when I run DCS.. I'm hoping that someone can give me some pointers on how to fly The F/A 18 in VR. Maybe someone can take the time to explain all the steps that're needed … Blaze

Hi Thank you for spending so much time with me in trying to help me fix my problem.. I actually think that I've solved the problem.. I had some prior issues with DCS not loading.. I had contacted the tech portal and they recommended the I reinstall the game. So then I went to the mission builder and the missions where still present.. I tried to open these missions but when I loaded up the mission and tried to fly a blue map screen came up.. And there wasn't any graphics.. Needless to say I was really puzzled by all of this.. So after I contacted you I began to see a solution to this. I just want to say thank you again. I went to the MS search and typed miz. and found all of the missions. I decided to delete them' This is what solved my problem I now can create carrier mission again. I guess that after I reinstalled the game these missions became corrupted... Again.... you guys are awesome.. Respectfully Submitted Blaze

Ok thanks for your help.. I'm having a real issue trying to find the saved games folder.. I think there is a problem somewhere but I can't really find I.. I've spent hours with no end in sight.. I'm going to give it some time to cool off and will try again later.. The only problem I'm having is with carrier based missions. These so much that I have to learn yet.. I've been away from DCs for a long time while waiting for the FA/18. I'll continue to work on the carrier based missions but for now I'm learning the JTAC system for the Maverick in the FA/18. So thanks again.. If you have an idea why I cant enter the mission editor please let me know.. Fly Safe Blaze

Yes I did but when I run the mission there isn't any graphics.. I contacted the technicians.. They want me to send file logs to them.. I've spent several hours trying to send them the requested files without success This is a real issue. How to I fix this????

I'm really having a problem with the mission editor.. I contacted support and they need a Screen shot of the problem.. What's happening is when I create a carrier mission it loads fine if I don't add any aircraft.. But when I do add aircraft craft the mission loads but there isn't any graphics. It just a blue/green screen, The screen is like the mission builder screen, but its not interactive... Support wants me to supply a screen shot but I can't... Does anyone have a clue to what actually is going on?? Am I missing something or is this a bug. What's the remedy??? Blaze~

I have an ongoing problem when creating a mission. It doesn't happen ever time but after setting up carrier mission and I begin to fly it. The blue map screen appears and there is no graphics... There has to be something that I'm missing.. Its not a time issue. The carrier and the jet are set to the same time.. Does anyone else have this problem or did they at one time have it?

I want to clean up my mission editor of unwanted files.. What's the procedure to do this???

Hi Guys I've created a carrier mission. I was able to assemble all of the necessary parameters... But when I press the fly button the mission loads up, but there aren't any graphics. It's just the map and of course it's not active... Is there a fold down or some sort of procedure to allow the mission to load properly..

missions Hi every one.. I've been creating missions for the F/A-18. I'm actually having some issues with one or 2 missions that I've been working on..,. After a fresh install, out of the 4 missions that I've created only one can still open correctly.. What I'm trying to do is delete the missions that are misfunctioning. I've been reading a lot of the tutorials but I can't find any instruction on deleting missions. Can some please point me in the right direction.. Blaze

I just did a fresh install and opened the mission editor.. I've tried to create a new mission but the airfields and airports don't list.. Is there a way to show these. I hope that I don't need to reinstall everything again

I've actually downloaded the 2.5.3.25225 from the main page but was informed that Version 2.5.3.23954 is the version that has the AGM-65 e laser maverick and the JHMCS.. My issue is I can't find the new version download on the main page Where exactly is it???

I downloaded the open beta but the LAU-117 isn't available also JHMCS … Did I have an issue with the Open Beta download?

Hi Everyone well here goes. In the Mission Editor I've created an A/G mission for the F/A 18.. In the loadout section I'm trying to custom load a maverick. The loadouts in the Mission Editor don't list a Maverick. Oh, and yes I did list the mission as a ground attack. There isn't a Maverick listed and in the drop down box its not listed.. Can I import them or is it that ED hasn't enabled them due to its resent release?

TJ... Actually I really didn't read the entire script. although I thought that it was rather cheap in comparison to the Hornet or Harrier. After the installation I thought it was strange that I couldn't flip any switches, I was as almost positive that clickable cockpits weren't available here. I really needed to confirm this, So thank you for your help.. I hope that it doesn't take as long to implement the Mig as it did the F/A-18.. LOL Blaze

This was the first aircraft that I flew when I started out in Flanker all of those years ago. This was my first love and to this day the lines of this plane are beautiful. I've waited patiently for the chance to fly the Hornet with the clickable cockpit. So its finally here and its truly astounding. I now decided to go back to my first love the MiG. So today I purchased the module to fly with a clickable cockpit. I installed it into DCS. But the clickable cockpit isn't there. And even the graphics are from the older module. Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something? Any feed back that you guys can offer would be great...

It's the Trustmaster Warthog with Crosswind pedals.. My last setup was the Throstmaster Cougar with the Uber II mod, and Simped pedals The old system was fabulous but was to much trouble to setup in Windows 10

I see your point. Its a pity but it appears that Afghanistan is a long way off. Anyway the Persian Gulf map as it is was a tremendous accomplishment for DCS.. After all of those years with the old map its nice that we have something fresh and new to play around in...
