  1. No I am an airhead...I meant Hannibal.
  2. When you say your wife only tolerates it are you referring to the cockpit ;)
  3. Half way down the page there is a link to a word doc in Grizzly's post that explains how he made his Commanche collective and it is a nice one. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2286818/14.html
  4. I found this earlier while surfing. There are a bunch of different Simpits in the link even found Triggers and Hitch's ;) have a read its great!!! http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2286818/1.html
  5. Saw these on Hagstroms site. Never saw them there before =) Yet another alternative to Leo's cards. http://www.hagstromelectronics.com/products/kead6.html
  6. I have started drawing linked controls for the Apache...I sure hope they do!!! =)
  7. I agree with Trigger. The cables look much better instead of hard drive cables which look way to computerish. I am afraid your only option is to forsake this project. Box everthing up and ship it to me to relieve yourself of this hassle ;)
  8. Looking good Trigger !!!! =)
  9. Might you be able to please provide me with a model number so I can look them up?
  10. Fantastic Bad CRC!!! You sure built this rig fast. =)
  11. http://cgi.ebay.ca/PCK-10-MADE-IN-U-S-A-5-WAY-ROTARY-CERAMIC-SWITCHES-S_W0QQitemZ120356813271QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item1c05d339d7&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|293:2|294:30 Will these rotary encoders work for the cockpit? I am unsure which ones to buy as I have never used them before.
  12. LOL thats what my youngest son told me to use. Good idea and thank you Bad.
  13. You could always build your own set like some of us have. =)
  14. Well I think you are a butt ugly girl ;) but you make up for it by doing this piece of art we call Abris =)
  15. Wow incredible!!
  16. Hagstrom is in the US so they are easier to get a hold of for us North Americans. If I lived over near you I would probably use a different solution.
  17. My cubic rare earth magnets arrived =) Time to get my controls working!!!
  18. Awesome!!!! Reading your thread makes me want to get mine flyable sooner!!
  19. lol not sure how I missed it. I still think the CH Products are a far superior joystick tho quality wise =)
  20. Wow. LoL I didn't see that one =) If you build one...build two and i will buy one off you ;)
  21. You're very welcome. In my opinion you can't go wrong with any CH Products gear...they build the stuff to last.
  22. Here are a few ambidextrous sticks. Out of the 3 I would recommend CH hands down as it will probably last you forever. They make hella tough joysticks. CH Products Flightstick Pro (kinda looks like the KA-50 Cyclic and the one I am using to build my simpit) http://www.chproducts.com/retail/j_flight_pro.html Logitech Attack 3 (own one, not a bad joystick but not great) http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/pc_gaming/joysticks/devices/302&cl=ca,en Saitek Cyborg Evo (very nice feeling stick but cheaply made) http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/evo.htm
  23. His support forums are still up. Here are some other links to similar cards. http://www.u-hid.com/ The distribution point for these cards. Might be a viable solution if in fact Leo is gone. http://www.ultimarc.com/JShopServer/section.php?xSec=3 http://www.ultimarc.com/JShopServer/section.php?xSec=2 www.codemercs.com
  24. I was going to buy that one but opted for the kit. I wish I had bought the quadrant by itself =\
