I have found that to get a signal from the RSBN in ARK mode I've had to switch it on and off. Rinse ... and repeat. If I don't do that the needle continues to point in one direction and I end up overflying the beacon.

Nor would you, except if you were about to go into real combat and that was the guy instructing you. You'd see the bug, post haste. Gauranteed. I guess its like Einstein said ... all things are relative. Even instruction. But, having said that. Thanks for clarifying the numbering.

My understanding is that clockwise rotation of the fan causes left yaw, which must be corrected with right rudder ... and vice versa. Any experts can confirm?

Deploying chute on landing can only done in cockpit by clicking on the correct key. I cannot map it to my Thrustmaster throttle .... both the chute deployment and release keys ...

Hello again Grizzly. I think you'll find this interesting. :book: I had checked the 'run as administrator' in the Compatibility tab of properties of 'KneeboardBuilder.exe' file. As soon as I UNCHECKED this it allows me drag and drop files as well as update and RUN normally .... it appears to be some sort of UAC thing.

Indeed that worked. In fact it seemed to have 'remembered' the settings even though I deleted those files as you instructed. It rebuilt the 'kneeboardBuilder.exe.config' file, but did not rebuild the 'settings.xml' file. Perhaps it read it from the registry. It appears to be running fine without the 'settings.xml' file. You might want to put those instructions in the readme file, troubleshooting section, for those experiencing the same problem

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. Verification 100% complete. Between the last version and this one something went broke .... I remember running this before, but it finds nothing, even though something clearly isn't working ...

I also don't have any ink ... because the bankers stole all the factors of production by printing money. Be that as it may ... updating (and patching to version 1.4.2.0 breaks the program me successfully. Reverting to 1.4.1.0 still appears to work if I manually import pdf's. Thanks again Grizzly.

works like a charm grizz. Thanks. Now ... to test it in the cockpit. p.s Ok first test shows the positioning of the Kneeboard on the screen is not working. I moved it from the default left to the right side - the result in cockpit showed the kneeboard in the centre left of the screen. So it did move, just not the right position. The screen size was reported correctly in the program me. If I may ask, which file is modified to change position? I can then use the program me and go and check what changes are actually being made.

Its frustrating me too. I have a technical and businees background, which would be sufficient to sort out a small glitch like this. Just waiting for the instruction ...

Windows 7 64 bit The link you gave me is unavailable. So I can't see if 1.2.1 is working. The drag and drop feature is standard with your program me design. So I think its really interesting to figure out why its not working. Especially since, if you remember, I stated that the first time I use your program me, the feature on your program me worked fine. So this is a mystery worthy of Shylock Holmes. I'm hoping you are a mystery lover too, maybe (with some help from the Lord :smartass:) we can solve this one.

where should I install the dlls? Perhaps its not seeing them? the pdf file - I mouse click and drag it over the import window and it just shows a circle with a slash through it. Meaning I cant import it ... I suppose.

Ok the latest version of kneeboard is now running without cashing ... But even though I installed ghostscript I still cant import a pdf - its called checklist.pdf Does ghostscript run in the background?

.net is definately broken I tried fixing it by using the supplied program from windows ... but it looks like the gremlins have got hold of my computer again. How else could the program work once and then break. A thousand curses on them gromlins ... ;-) p.s. under framework64 folder in windows Ive got the ff versions 1025 v2.0.50727 v3.0 v3.5 v4.0.30319 Curiously windows 7 is reporting that ive already got 4.5 installed ...

No errors that I can see. Just windows asking me if I want to report the crash. Yes on Ghostscript (incidentally I tried installing it to both Program files directory and then to the directory in which I had the kneeboard program - that didnt help). As for .Net 4.5 it's reporting that I have a more recent version so it doesn't want to install that one. p.s. just checked the versions - looks like 4.5 is not installed Ill try again.

I'm having probs running the programme. Any help appreciated Grizzly Initially ver 1.3 even allowed me to import a pdf. But wont allow me to import any more pdf's after that. Ver 1.4 crashes on startup. Any ideas.
