When you have a beta release it means the software is not optimised. Measuring graphics and processor speeds should be done on a flight sim that is matured in terms of development. I would suggest you use the Hog to measure your processor and gpu power. That would be a good indicator.

And its still in Beta. Imagine what a blast it will be once its systems are de-nerfed and out of beta ... hoohaa

How about developing a decent campaign in the meanwhile ... A good title might be 'The Banker Wars' ....

Kids, kids kids calm down will you. The facts as they stand are that this was a beta release. My own experience so far is that most, if not all the systems are bugged. Even the flight model is in the toilet as far as performance goes. Getting your snickers in a twist over it ... mmm think that might help?

Firstly I noticed too tips have disappeared with the latest update. Can anyone else confirm. As for the 'sps' system I noticed it makes no difference whether its swithched on or off. It makes no difference to the handling characteristics at take-off and for generall low speed handling. Can someone else please confirm this.

Mig-21Bis Toolitips seem to have disappeared with this update. Also using the boundary layer (BLC) sps system doesn't seem to make a difference in low speed handling? Has this been reported?

I've noticed the poor engine performance at low altitude as well. The Mig-21bis has suffered a serious nerf in it current configuration. But Im sure thats not political, just like the campaign that accompanied it ... :lol:

Wouldn't it make more sense to map this with all the other jettison key bindings. For some reason they've differentiated 'drop' for fuel and jettison for weapons. I would suggest sticking with 'jettision' and just drop the 'drop' :music_whistling:

Checked. Was able to assign and unassign. No problems. It even warned me that the key was in use (I'm using it for brakes).

Thanks for the replies. Since we going for realism I'm wondering if this is a bug with the flight model. I just dont have the experience to answer this definitively. But, looking at videos of the real Mig-21Bis there appears, for me, to be an issue with low speed handling in the flight model. The issue with the high altitude flight model has already been acknowledged in the Bugs section. This could just be another smoking gaan.

Has anyone been able to hold their nose up to airobrake on landing? With the current flight model its nigh impossible. Most of the videos I've seen of the real mig 21 landings the nose can be held up for quite a bit before it 'gently' falls to make contact with the concrete. Your comments are appreciated, as always.
