I understand that FC3 requires, I think it said, LOMAC or a previous FC title. Where can I buy a copy of LOMAC these days? I gave my one and its leather bound manual that I purchased to a charity shop about 3 years ago. :( Thanks Toni

I purchased A-10c from Steam a while back and only just getting back into it now that I purchased the ThrustMaster HOTAS (Love It!!!!). Anyway, I downloaded and installed DCS World the other evening and it does not see that I have A-10c installed. Is this because it was a Steam install and if so how do I rectify it? Also I have Black Shark II installed and it does not see that either :( Thanks Toni

Thanks, I got it from one of the HTTP links in the end. Am I right in saying that there are no tutorials in BSII. I went into the Tutorial section and there was nothing there. Sorry, I know this is off topic

I am trying to download File Name: KA-50_full_en_bsupd_1.1.1.1-3.bin and it is asking me for FTP logon information. Where do I get said information? I purchased the BSII software earlier today and have my serial number(s). Thanks

Apache Longbow Hi DCS, Any chance of you throwing together a Apache AH64-D application for your next title? Would love to fly one of those in a sim that you create. I took of the Saitek profile that I was applying which allowed me to move the engines to Idle via the mouse. Finally I got the engines up and running. Just need to find the Ramp Startup quick start key combination so I can at least get into learning about flight controls etc. I am no N00b to planes as I have flown around the world in FSX but I am now looking for a little something extra Thanks for all your advice on here. I purchased and downloaded A-10 yesterday. I am going through the tutorial, specfically the Startup one and I can't get the engines to start. I am following all the istructions & switches as I go but they will not spin up. I have tried with both the keyboard commands (Right Ctrl & Home) or whatever it was and I also have a Saitek X52-Pro and the and both the profile that is on the DCS site applied as well as trying the Saitek one I downloaded from their website. I desperatly want to use this Sim as I love all the procedures etc for startup but if I can't get the damn engines to start I ain't going no where. Thanks Toni

I have checked on Amazon.co.uk and they no longer appear to sell the manual in the UK. Does anyone know where else I can get a copy of the printed/bound 536 page manual? Talisa

Quick one for you. When I press the LAlt+C I do not get the mouse cursor back. I do get mouse control for the view though.

I am very very new to BS. On the whole I love it so far although I have not fired a shot yet. Still learning to control the thing. Anyway, couple of questions I have; 1. When I go from F1 view to any other view and then back to F1. Using the mouse to control the view direction and switches is ignored/disabled. How do I reactivate it? 2. Can you turn the pilot body on within the cockpit? 3. Is there a short manual that explains some of the basic procedures that it not 383 pages long? Thanks in advance

I am very new to this sim but not sims as a whole. I have spent many years on both FS sims as well as having flown real Heli and planes (only a few times though). I am using a Saitek X52 Pro flight system (not pedals though, yet!!). I have found that trying to control the Heli is like trying to drive a bouncy castle. I find that I am yoyo'ing all over the place. I am only putting the smallest of inputs into the stick and yet it is all over the place. My frame rate seems smooth although I do not know what the actual figure is so I am ruling out actually flying the sim 20 frames behind real time and then over compensating. I want this sim to work for me because since the demise of Jane's Longbow I have been without a great Heli sim/game. Did I read somewhere that a Longbow add-on is being worked on for this sim? Anybody have any suggestions??

Is there a checklist anywhere that shows you the required steps to either start or shut down a KA-50. I have gone through the training (only had the game a couple of days) but would like to have a list printed out (maybe including the panels the said switches are on). Or am I goin to have to create one myself? God I hope not!!!
