Hi Fellow Pilots. Obviously in the Mission Editor, is there a way that I can be the second plane in a flight group, so I can practice close formation flying? Thank you

Greetings Fellow Pilots, Is there a way for backing off the TDC sensitivity. I find it difficult to move around the radar with any great precision. Ideally, I would like to back it off 75 to 50% Is this possible to do in the Sim? I am not using TARGET scripting if that is at all relevant? Thank you

Hi Fellow Pilots, I have changed all the background on my menu, and on the loading screen, although it only displays until the progress bar screen appears, and then it defaults to a sim one, with clouds I think. I want to change most of the screens to custom ones, but I can find no guide on how to do this. Just as a quick couple of examples, I want to change the background on the 'Mission Selection' screen, the whole 'Mission Loading' screen. Does anybody know where I can find such a guide, or if it is even possible to do, which I am sure it is

Hi All, I am trying to find the distance between the top of the two vertical stabilizers. I have searched various measurement sites, but can't find it. Anyone got any ideas what the distance is, or where I can find it. I believe the angle of each is 23 degrees off vertical, but I am sure the distance is probably work-out-able, but I can't work out what maths formula to use Anybody? Thanks in advance

Hi Fellow Pilots, I have a question, obviously! I am just starting to use the excellent TIR5 Profile of SpudKnocker, but there is one thing I want to change. It there a way to limit the range/degrees that the profile will action. If I move my head up, it does a 360 degree about 3 times over and over. I would like to limit it to stop the first time it gets to say 90 degrees, or 120, whatever, not 1080 degrees. Same goes for right and left, I only want it to go to the range that a normal head would be able to turn to, which I think is about 170ish degrees. Thank you in anticipation of your assistance

I am up for paying for it. Probably even the basic version. I can run it on my MS Surface with an Andriod Emulator like NOX, or whatever it is called I guess a problem might be that if you charge for it, then you would have the responsibility of officially supporting it, and with that, it becomes more than a labour of love

Hi All, I am just starting to look into Helios as an option to use on my MS Surface, network linked to my main DCS rig. I want to do the main design part of what will end up on the Surface, on a different PC. Is there a way I can create a custom monitor resolution, that of the MS Surface, on my design rig? The monitors I use on my design rig are all lower resolution, but way more convenient to do work on than the Surface I hope that all make some kind of sense??

How do I turn off the two MFD Repeats (see image)
Toni Carrera replied to Toni Carrera's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
I have triple screens, although I only use DCS on my center monitor in conjunction with TrackIR Thank you for the link to the manual. I do not really want to use it to be honest, I want to get my surface to use as the MFD's. I have another thread somewhere asking about that. I am also looking into Helios I think to see if that it an option for me Thanks -
Cancel my question, just found Subscribed threads Thanks Anyway

Hi Fellow Pilots, Is there a way I can quickly jump to the posts I have created so I can see if there are any answers to my questions? Thanks in advance

How do I turn off the two MFD Repeats (see image)
Toni Carrera replied to Toni Carrera's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Hi, In answer to your question, it could be because I am running a Service called 'DCS Device Server' which drives an Android App on my MS Surface, which in turn allows me to control the Lower Centre MFD from touch on the MS Surface If that is causing it, I will happily remove it if I can find the program I want that will allow me to control Left & Right MFD's on my Surface Thanks -
Hi Fellow Pilots, How do I turn off the two MFD displays that have appeared on the right-hand side of my F-18? Please see the image attached Thank you in anticipation

Hi Fellow Pilots, I have the main i7 rig that I run DCS on, for the most part, quite nicely. I also have a Microsoft Surface that I just use for, well what it is designed to do. I was wondering if there was any way, I guess via 3rd Party software, that I could utilize the 'TouchScreen' ability for the MFD's. I mainly am learning the ins and outs of my favorite lady, F/A-18C. I was just wondering, that is all Fly Safe Ice Rhino

Hi Tech, Not a bug as such, but there are spelling mistakes in the subtitles for the training mission on the AIM120. One I noticed was 'VISIUAL' near the beginning of the mission, the other was 'Press ESC when you with to escape'. Clearly this should be '....when you wish...' not 'with' Just thought you would like to know Ice Rhino aka Toni Carrera

Greetings Fellow Editors, In a previous installation, I had modified 'a' file to change the default location of my missions and versions that I had created a saved. Now I am running a clean install of DCS World and associated Modules. I am unable to remember the file I modified to change the default saved mission editor files. I would appreciate any assistance in assisting my failing memory Thank you in advance for your kind assistance Toni Carrera

Hi, I am just creating a mission that will allow me to practise close formation flying. As part of this mission, I want to do it in heavy snow and clouds and obviously in Winter. I have set the date to be in December, so there is snow on the ground, and that works fine. I select at the bottom of the weather options 'Winter (Heavy Snow & Clouds). However, when I save the mission and go back in to the weather options, it has reverted back to 'Default Weather' When I load the level, there is snow on the grounds and it is cloudy, but there is no snow in the air etc. Anybody able to assist me with this? Thank you

Thank you Bolek, it worked perfectly. Thank you so much For the benefit of others who might want to use this solution, here is the exact syntax I used; 1. Opened Command Prompt as 'Administrator' 2. Typed - cd"C:\users\trsc\Saved Games\dcs\tracks" 3. Typed - mklink/d DCS-Tracks "D:\OneDrive-for-Business\OneDrive - TC ITServices\Game-Sim-Related\Digital-Combat-Simulations\Flight-Tracks\FA-18C" 4. The following result was displayed symboliclink created for DCS-Tracks <<===>>D:\OneDrive-for-Business\OneDrive - TC ITServices\Game-Sim-Related\Digital-Combat-Simulations\Flight-Tracks\FA-18C 5. I opened DCS and via the 'Replay' option on the menu. I navigate to the folder and there was a Directory listed name 'DCS-Tracks' 6. When I opened that, bingo, all my track files from the linked location were visible So my sincerest thanks to Bolek See ya

Hi, When I try and load a saved Track, DCS defaults to C:\ and will only allow me to locate anywhere within said C:\ How do I get the ability to change the drive letter that I want to use to 'Open' track files?? I can save wherever I want and do so in to a folder on D:\, but when it comes to opening one from the main Replay menu, it only allows C:\ navigation Thanks in Advance
