Hi all. I see there is a DOGFIGHT switch which does things, can anyone please tell me more about this? Can any direct me to a reliable source of good tips and tricks for the F16 and setting up her controls and such?

This is rather unfortunate, In multiplayer I get many kills from 13-16nm out. If I'm flying at 50k alt then I can manage 20-25nm... A skilled pilot can avoid these shots though, so it depends on your luck and planning at the end of the day.

"oh boo hoo, they fixed someone else's stuff so now I need to complain about my stuff too!"...… Come on guys! Let ED fix the AIM120 in peace, we are ALL glad it's getting fixed. I'm very sure they are keeping their eyes on the other missiles too and will fix when they have more data and I'm even more sure that ED knew people would complain about the other missiles to start off with, so let them do their work and calm down a bit.

Ah well, it would be nice nonetheless the know what little tips and tricks there are for setting the aircraft better, even if for the few things that work.

Hi all. I don't seem to find a guide for the F-16 on Chuck's website. I find it interesting that there seems to be one for the JF-17 but no the F-16? Do we know if there is one coming?

Hi Cleris. I have been loving it. The current systems that are in work well, I can't say how much because I don't know enough about the real jet. So far definitely my favourite Jet between the hornet and viper.

This isn't the point of this thread.... Rather make a new post if you have an issue with something.

It seems my confusion repellent is finished. I'll open my game later and test it.

Hi all. I struggle with one thing in the f16, constant trimming.. it always rolls slowly to one side or another even while the ATT Hold is active. Correct me if I am wrong but I assume that the ATT Hold is meant to prevent roll? Thanks for any replies.

I got 6 kills the other day in the viper to no deaths. I love flying it, dono why this guy thinks is so bad.

If I have the cash, maybe. Depends on if I think I'll use it. It certainly sounds cool.

Hornet A/G radar news. Hi pilots. I recently posted a question about the A/G radar for the hornet and luckily NineLine has indulged us with some information: The A/G radar is currently with the terrain team, I assume for optimization(?). The JF-17 is currently using ED's A/G radar tech. This is known information to some people but apparently not to most, which is why I am posting it here so that the info is not lost in my other thread. (Now everyone can calm down in that thread?)

It is unfortunate that people are taking the point of this thread incorrectly. Perhaps @NineLine, it would be best to maybe make a separate post about the A/G radar as I think your information about the JF-17 using the ED AG radar and that the tech is with the terrain team is being lost in this thread.

I dont imply that ED is slacking off, I can see Ed's commitment, I was saying more that I feel ED might be overloading itself with too many aircraft that will take too long to finish unless the studio size is increased.. which means more money is needed and do on which can be counter productive in a business sense. But considering that the JF 17 is actually using ED tech, then I'm glad to see some progress and that you've told us that the tech is with the terrain team.

Hey all and hopefully an ED representative! I am quite concerned at this point. I have been with DCS only for this year and its been a great learning experience to fly these wonderful jets but sadly I also started to learn about the production pace... I believe there was a post in 2015 that spoke about the AG radar and I don't understand how DEKA Ironworks and HeatBlur managed to implement it in seemingly no time in comparison to ED. Unless I am entirely incorrect and this is normal for all teams? This is not intended as a bashing session against ED, far from it, but as a customer who has spent the money, I do feel concerned that I will be waiting another couple years considering that ED is now increasing its workload by adding the F16. (Which I also own and want an AG radar for without waiting 5 years. The time in which entire games get produced!) In short, I do not understand ED's strategy and would like some clarification as to why they are seemingly overloading themselves with work and leaving an incredibly large and important function out of both jets. Again, all is said in a fair tone, not to bash ED. Good flying! Cintra.

Hi all. So I cannot get my walleye to slew around so I can select a target. The process I follow is as follows: A/G Master Mode -> Select Walleye from left MFD twice until the video input comes up -> Select left MFD with the sensor select switch -> Uncage. After this I attempt to use my Target Designator Switch that I use for controlling my RADAR to slew the bomb view, is this incorrect? I have managed to make it work when the bomb was released but now it seems I'm unable to get passed this point. Thanks in advance.:thumbup:

Yeah, as the title says. Made a payment with Paypal and now I've been waiting 3 days for "the manager to check your proof of payment ASAP" as the support person said. Checking a proof of payment takes 5 minutes, no argument can justify 3 days....
