Hi I am on mission 4. I can find the target with the FLIR but I can't get it to switch to either narrow or medium view...it always switches back to Wide view and I can't get the zoom to work either. I am just using the buttons on the MFCD. I didn't save the track file, but if no one has any ideas I'll fly it again and save the track file. Just wondering if there are problems with the tpod with the last update? Thoughts?

Okay I have easy comm's off. I tried again. I have the radios working before I launch but they seem to quit after the launch. No laughing at the end . I was hoping to try the new ACLS on this mission, and I thought I had the option the previous time I flew it, but the option didn't come up on the HSI when I clicked on the Tacan and ICLS this time. And as you will see at the end I'm probably going to need ACLS.....or the skip button.....close by no cigars!! Thanks for the help. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong....just not sure what it is. I turn on Tacan at 75X and ICLS on 14. I switch the Primary radio to 3 as instructed but I can't contact the ATC. I switch to ACLS and set the datalink to 336, and I can see I'm linked ALS1 on top right corner, but I still can't contact ATC and I don't get any data transfers. I forgot to save my track files which I will do next if no one has any suggestions. Any thoughts?

Finished the Jug campaign a couple weeks ago and just finished the Debden Eagles campaign. Both were excellent but I love the Mustang and this was the first time I really spent any time on the Normandy 2 map (gotta put a plug in for that). The map is also excellent. I like it better than the Channel map. The Debden Eagles lets you fly the Mustang, but also explore most of the Normandy map since you get much further range in the Mustang. It was an excellent campaign and I must say Mission 10 was my favorite!! I'm not as familiar with the map so I had a few problems finding my way back home after I lost of the squad lead a couple times...did let me explore the British isle though! Nice Work Reflected!!

Hi I wonder if someone can help me? I start in the air (F10 push), my radio is on Comm 1 (305) and I have no problem communicating with Darkstar. At Point Bravo I switch Comm 1 to preset 20 (266) but I get no response. I still get Darkstar's air to air BRA warnings but no Whiplash. I have engaged the air threats and go back to point Bravo but still no Whiplash. I have tried switching just the preset to 20 and then both the preset and the 266 frequency but still nothing. I have tried changing the channels directly on the radio on the side panel as well as the HUD but still nothing. I'm sure I'm probably not configuring something correctly but at this stage I don't know what it is!! Any thoughts?

Hey guys I was having problems with both the instant action and the red flag. I slowed to under .9M in the instant action and the bombs dropped. In the red flag the bombs did not drop, so I took it off auto pilot and manually steered over the target and the bombs dropped. I think you were both correct. Either way my problem is solved and I thank you both for the help!! Thanks guys.

Hi, I've watched all the videos and can't figure out what's wrong. I can release in the training mission but the bombs won't release in the instant action missions nor in the red flag mission 1. I've attached the track files...hopefully someone can tell me what I'm missing or doing wrong? I've got master arm on and laser on. Cat III, I'm using autopilot to keep the azimuth on the target. I've used a release angle of 0 and 45 degrees. Bombs show ready in the SMS and on the hud. I don't touch the weapons release button on the first drop of the cue, I wait for the bomb toss circle to quit flashing. I wait till about 9 seconds on the second drop of the cue and hold the weapons release button. All it does is activate the laser. I don't have any conflicts on my bindings. I have the first detent on the trigger mapped and it does fire the laser but so does the weapons release button. I'm using the TGP and it's SOI and I have the target locked in point track. I'm having the same problem but I'm using autopilot with course heading to keep the azmith on track with the target and still can't get the bombs to release. They will in the training session but won't in the instant action or red flag campaign. I've tried everything I can think of and can't get a release? Any other thoughts. I've got class at II.

I solved it. If it helps anyone else, don't install Nvidia drivers manually! I used the console this time to update the drivers and it fixed the issue.

Hi, I'm on the stable version of 2.9 and I am getting a black screen almost every time I click something (to go into instant action, mission, campaign) but also get black screens popping up in the mission (just for a couple seconds then it clears). I also get a black screen every time a mission is loading, I don't see the scroll bar as the mission loads anymore, I just end up sitting in the cockpit when the screen finally clears. I have tried adjusting my settings with no luck. I have DLSS enabled, I have turned clouds down to high, performance is set to balanced (was originally quality). I have played with all the settings that others like Spudknocker and Jabber have talked about in their videos. Not sure what else to try and it's almost impossible to play (black screen always seems to pop up at the worst possible time)! I have a fairly new computer (i9, 3080 ti card). Any thoughts?

No I don't think it's either. I have master arm on and I've tried both laser on and off. I'm flying level and the bar comes down from the top and I get a circle that flashes to indicate the release and time for the laser to fire but no drop. I should have pointed out that I can do the training missions with no problem and I've checked my settings in both and can't see any different settings.

Hi, I think I am doing everything correct. I have AG pressed, "ready" on the bombs on the SMS, with the 75/2 settings and CCRP. I find the target no problem in the TGP and I DMS up to point track on it. I get the crossbar coming down the azimuth and hold the weapons release but the bombs never drop. I have jettisoned the wing tanks with no problem so I don't think it's the weapons release mapping that's the problem? Any ideas? Is there a safety switch somewhere I'm missing? I've read Chuck's guide and can't see what I'm missing? Thoughts?

Hi I have a fairly new computer (I9, 3080 card), I didn't have this problem in 2.8. When I click to load a mission or click something in the cockpit, and sometimes even just flying and glancing around, my screen goes black for a couple of seconds and then comes back on. Also, I haven't looked at the A10 threads yet, but my velocity vector and AOA in the hud are off center (everything else looks fine). Other than a couple issues, the graphics are great!! I'm on the stable version. I watched Spudknockers video on the settings for 2.9 and set mine up the same. Thanks.

Hey Reflected I tried to buy the campaign today and it the DCS site will not display the buy button. When I click on buy it takes me to a screen that shows the price and the details but will not allow me to buy. At the bottom it still says you must have the open beta version to buy the campaign? Can you take a look and see if I'm missing something? I got the Jug in the cart...just need the campaign now! Thanks for your time!!
