  1. I want to thank you CHPL and your team for another spectacular campaign. Peter Berger never disappoints as a PIC. null
  2. I have played through your SPRING 2025 campaign twice, and it was very enjoyable when it wasn't downright challenging. I am thrilled to be playing through a second installment of WORLD'S APART now! I admit I am very much a gamer and I play to hit the triggers and call it a day. I'm unfamiliar with the voluminous aviation rules and procedures, however thanks for your feedback, and I will now strive to line up approaches into the wind, in order to hit all the triggers correctly. If I can be so critcal to compare your documentation to other campaigns' I hope it will be taken constructively: The DCS F-16C Wild Weasels campaign documentation showed very detailed diagrams of the traffic patterns and ATC procedures when doing everything around the H4 base in Jordan. Once I understood the plan I was able to comply consistently with mission expectations. I'm not saying that I'm not hearing Oberleutenant Berger tell me where the headwind is as I approach for landing, It's just I would do better to have seen a diagram from a bird's eye view beforehand to help me understand where not to fly over, as well as how much distance for final approach is expected. I admit I have a lot of discipline to cultivate however when it comes to following aviation rules for the sake of a simulation. I just comleted Mission 10 and it was one of the most demanding sling load missions I've done, I really liked the challenge of picking up between the narrow gap in the trees on either side of the mountain road. The base above was a really cool place to drop cargo! Props for making a great one! my Stormfront Mission 10 track
  3. I think the second smoke, which I scribbled into this image, is where I was supposed to land the first time, but the trigger went off at the end of the mission because I wasn't able to get it before, which probably explains the random voice over saying for me to go to the ridge.
  4. I also heard to head 230 and then head EAST but I couldn't find a ship to the East (I paused and free camera searched out to the East) so I continued on 230 degrees until a MISSION COMPLETE image came up (although the top of the image was cut-off as it was oversized) It seems part A of the mission is complete after you pick up passengers from the submarine and head 230 a ways. I headed 230 after the sub and got a mission complete / part A complete graphic (that was too large btw) and the mission ended. here's my track: Stormfront Mission 3.A track
  5. Hello, I played through mission 1 and had a lot of fun. I would like some advice on how to get the landing prompt when approaching the HQ with the Admiral on board. I wonder if I flew too low < 200 ft agl. Here is the link to my track on my google drive folder: UH-1 Worlds Apart Stormfront M.1 track. Also, in the ending sequence of landing to refuel at HQ there were some voice over / messages that got jumbled together. I made a video clip of it you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HY7RvFfqkc
  6. whoops that's all it was, I was not logged, in. Truly a PEBKAC error. Thanks for helping me resolve it.
  7. I am unable to purchase the campaign on the dcs website. The buy button disappears and a text message appears saying I must update my DCS to 2.9.6 which I just updated.
  8. The digital model for this bomb doesn't still have a bright purple circle at the tip does it? I don't think in real life it would be that pronounced of a color. It always bothered me when I saw that on the bombs.
  9. it's computer code, how could it be literal worn-out parts?
  10. I want to drop the gear from the pilot seat, and switch to the copilot seat and have the gear stay down so I can land it but when I switch to the front seat the gear retracts automatically. I want to be able to land without having to set the emergency gear from the CPG seat.
  11. Mission 6 was a neat experience getting to hunt down a moving convoy through winding mountain roads. It's a real challenge to extend and then run in on an open segment of road with the right timing so that when Petrovich has the optical sight open and is scanning for targets, the trucks move into view and I can get a shot on them. Then when all the AA is down I just pick off the remaining trucks with the gun. could you make the mission 10 briefing say to fly heading 007 for 47, just for coincidence, even though the distance is forty nine klicks.
  12. Oh, so does 4YA aerobatics use Easy Communications always? It must be that. Thanks for the clarification.
  13. Hello to all at INVERTED and everyone in the community. I played this campaign a second time and was pleased to find the F/A-18C training missions which showed me how to CCRP designate from the HUD as well as auto acquisition modes for A2A, and more. The musical score was amazing and added an element of awesomeness to the whole campaign. My issue is the Bolivar livery now shows up as default on all F18s I slot into and other F18 units on multilayer who leave their skin as default after spawning? Can you please adjust the description.lua so Bolivar's skin stops showing up as default everywhere? I'd rather that than deactivate the campaign on my DCS module manager. The same goes for the Mi-8. Thanks for reading!
  14. It only seems to happen on an mp server, and here's a quick / straightforward track of it happening: - I slot into an A10 cold start - I flip the battery and inverter switches on - then look at the left panel at the rotary selector, I will first set it to INT and then key the comms menu, press F8, and F1 for rearm refuel, and watch it flip to VHF automatically. I also checked my keybinds, I have nothing bound to the rotary selector currently. A10CII-rotary-selector-involuntary-switch.trk
  15. Sometimes it's really hard for me to place the mouse cursor onto an overlay window such as the multi-player chat, Jester pie menu, or the F key comms menu. I don't know if it would be complicated to make there be one cursor that's in one location at all times for the cockpit and overlays. It sure would save me some strain and delays in trying to find it. Hope that makes sense, thanks for reading.

  16. sure, here I've attached a track where I tried to replicate the issue but couldn't, everything worked ok. A10-int-working-ok.trk
  17. Hello, to whom is concerned about this, I notice when I flip the rotary knob, on the rear left panel, to INT ( so I can talk to the ground crew) I then open the comms menu (with MIC SWITCH FWD) and press F8 to call the ground crew. When I then press F1 to open the Rearm / Refuel menu, the Rotary Knob jumps back to VHF. It seems like it should stay on INT. When I press ok on the refuel rearm menu, I have to hurry and switch it back to INT to hear the ground crew reply. It's not that the Ground Crew don't commence refueling and rearmign the bird, they do. It's just I don't hear their reply, but I do if I switch the rotary knob back to INT very quickly. Is it a bug?
  18. what does it mean to have it as standalone? Like as incorporated in the DCS software by default?' Have you tried upgrading to the latest version of the static objects mod? Otherwise, that's unfortunate it isn't working for you.
  19. Oh, are there other tech (object mods) you are running on your DCS rig?
  20. Yeah, that one. Exactly.
  21. Ah I did do a quick test of every object in the static objects mod. The howitzer will explode you on pickup (F6 sling cargo menu) so don't do that. Otherwise the wooden plank bundle also does something like makes the sling line go crazy and doesn't actually attach. All other objects work ok, and that antennae unit does sling load just fine without jumpiness or jittering.
  22. Ah, what type of "jumping around" do you see in a mission like that? Is it with the mod itself, or more with the playable unit in a user-created mission file?
  23. so the trigger zones are very narrow, you must be exactly on the flight plan and the trigger is tripped right before you reach WPT 1, then you must turn right to bearing 252 exactly and fly to it. the way you make sure your wingman doesn't land on 101st Mi8 is you start up and get all ready for takeoff, and then do the F10 menu asking for startup, this is to delay your wingman from starting up, and if you are in the air circling above by the time he starts up he will follow you and will not land on the Mi8 and it won't be wrecked. Now for the tricky part: Even if you destroy the 4 AAA technicals in the town, the Mi8 AI unit does not drop the bombs like it's supposed to, so you can 1) if you have the Mi8 module you can jump in it and go through the process of hovering above a weapons warehouse and dropping a bomb on it and getting out quick (before the explosion gets you) (there is a little delay) and you have to bomb 3 warehouses, just like in the Mi8 Border Campaign) OR Option 2) fly back to a FARP (there is one in Tskinvali) and load bombs on your Mi-24 and do it that way. I haven't yet figured out if after the AAA are down if you can destroy with large rockets the weapons stockpile ware houses( They are squared roof red brick buildings spread out in 3 places in town) (If you DM me I will get you the coordinates and possibly an overhead map of the warehouses that must be destroyed for mission completion. After that the friendly ground AI units must move in according to programming, who knows yet if they are buggy or not? Good luck, if you try again!
  24. in Mission 12 I can't get the Mi8 to drop the bombs. How to advance?
