  2. I played Raven One: Dominant Fury mission 2 again yesterday and the Sea/ Surf A2G radar didnt pick up a single watwr surface contact, and only when I did SOI to SEA RDR did it show a cross hair on the scope. Maybe I'm out of practice and missed a step
  3. Instead of starting a new topic, I want to post this here: Does anyone notice currently that the brightness knob on the IFEI is not dimming the lights at all? I just played Raven One: Dominant Fury Mission1 again, and my IFEI was super bright the whole time.

  5. even if these tech mod monsters just like grimace and pan around it will still be cool to shoot at a new target that is free! I just downloaded and extracted the folders to my OvGME tech mods folder, can't wait to try it!
  6. I saw Minus One in theaters yesterday. I think it would be awesome if in DCS we could fight a giant lizard that can swim and stomp across the land smashing buildings, and shoot heat rays.

  11. according to Chuck's guide and my little test, the HSI switch must actually be to the right position for ARK-U2 and left position (ZK) for ARK-15.
  12. I made a .miz file that helps me practice adf homing with the R-828 FM radio and the R-852 emergency beacon receiver. I also use ARK-15 to direction find the airbase NDBs. The thing is, everthing works until I edit the .miz file somemore, like if I move a unit that has a set frequency and transmission it will break. My plan now is to plan everything out, create the mission and save it once and be done and hopefully it will work everytime I run it. Does anyone else experience this phenomena with Mission Editor?
  13. Hello all, in trying to learn the quick fire technique for mission 4 : Sniper. Does anyone notice any difference in how the datalink keypad is functioning compared to how it worked before?
  14. I'm trying tp create targets using the datalink keypad on the top left canopy frame, and I don't the second row of 5 keys light up, nor the target-type keys. Is anyone noticing a change in the function of the datalink keypad lately?
  15. On this note, I wonder how the ME setting for the unit regarding the 2022 or the 2011 model affects INU drift.

  18. I'm in favor of a ground crew feature to change radio presets in game, for any module. So I start at Batumi and set the ARK radios in any helicopter or the Yak-52 to the Inner and Outer ILS Beacons at Kobuleti, Senaki, Kutaisi, Sukhumi, or the 3 bases in the Tbilisi. This will be especially nice for multiplayer servers where I can't go into the ME and change the presets, because when I fly in formation with a friend due east, I won't need to keep checking the F10 map, but can use the ADF Nav capabilities to fly there. I searched briefly for a 3rd party app that does this, but it will be excellent if something like this is implemented in further updates!
  19. The name of the mission says resuply firebase mike, so a small typo there. And it is great how you guys make the mission resume normal speed when voice audio plays so we dont miss a word, I think mission 3 or one of the earlier missions doesnt have that feature implemented yet, although it was great to have that in this mission.
  20. I played through the updated mission 2, was able to spawn ok, and complete the mission
  21. Yeah, I think it's improbable to predict what will get jumbled when there's a patch. No way to predict the changes right?
  22. The static UH1 you put on the FARP is the same spot my DCS is having me spawn on.
  23. Yeah I smoked one with my hydra rockets, and the right side gunner punched the other one full of holes, and it exploded before I got close, so no splash damage on our ship thankfully.
  24. Okay, and no offense. I won't mind the trucks going down the steep incline anymore. Just to clarify: its when I spawn after clicking 'FLY' that the unit just explodes. Okay I'm looking forward to what you find with the triggers. Thanks
