  1. If you want pre-planned targets but don't want the MitL function, couldn't you use the C-802AK instead?
  2. I was initially one of those people, but yeah, I learned how to easily manage it. My default setup is now Engine - TRG and A/B - Off, which has resulted in a very noticeable reduction in fuel consumption.

  4. You can, of course, use the UFCD to make markpoints, but I'm assuming that you mean within the HSD itself. I've never seen a way to do it. I'd think you would some sort of cursor to do that, like in the A-10c.

  7. I'm digging the APR page, but why can I not change the runway heading? For example, if the approach info for airfield 50 includes landing on runway 00, shouldn't I be able to edit that and specify runway 18 instead? When I click the OSB associated with runway heading, I can even input a new number, but it's never accepted. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a known issue? I couldn't find anything when I searched.

  9. No. S2 Fore and S2 Aft toggle wide and narrow FOV.
  10. MFCD U3 toggles between SP (steerpoint) mode and SLAV (slave to SPI) mode. As long as you have the waypoint specified in the UFCP, then the MWD7 should slew to it in SLAV mode.
  11. Yes, I think it was the same behavior, but so far it has only affected the vertical axis. It happened with the WMD7 many times, and I also saw it a few times on both the AA and AG radar, all of which are controlled by the same TDC Slew axis mapping. It didn't happen at all tonight, and there was a small patch today, so maybe it was addressed..?

  13. Sometimes when I'm slewing the TDC around, it continues moving along the vertical axis after the analog stick has returned to neutral. I added significant dead zones (5, then 10, then 20) in the control settings, but that didn't fix it. I think I'll try messing with the slew settings on the Special tab and see if that gets me anywhere. Anyone else seen this? I can't figure out whether it's a bug or a user error.

  17. When I power up my GB-6, it shows the initial alignment accuracy, and then the alignment time, which is around 3 minutes, but the timer never actually counts down. What am I missing? Do I have to realign my INS or something?
  18. In Radar mode, OSB L4 controls the radar altitude stabilization mode, but I can't find any information about it. Can anyone help me understand this function?

  21. Yeah, I figured that part out last night. I'm just wondering if I can "ground stabilize" it further out, if only to get the coordinates, so I don't have to hunt it down again once inside the lock range.
  22. Is there a way to manually specify area track or point track? On a related note, I'm having a lot of fun with the WMD7, but it's frustrating when you're attempting to locate something that's outside the game's draw distance. I get WHY they limit it, but it still sucks.
  23. If I'm reading correctly, they're semi-active laser-guided bombs. Does that we mark the target until they go "pitbull" and then we can pull off?
  24. Any details on this bomb? I'm not finding anything. Is it known by additional names maybe?
  25. When I'm in AG mode and make the HUD SOI, a diamond displays in the HUD. I assumed I could slew this around, but the standard slew controls do nothing. Any idea if it can be moved, and how?
