  1. As soon as I connect the ms sidewinder ffb 2 to my pc, the trim logic between aileron and elevator is swapped. Meaning: - When I use the elevator wheel in the cockpit, it actually controls the aileron trim. - When I use the aileron wheel in the cockpit, the elevation is actually controlled. I have a second joystick connected as well. As soon as I disconnect the sidewinder joystick (unplug it during flight), trim logic is normal again. But as soon as I connect it, the plane goes down in a spiral. I assume, the values for aileron and elevation change logic. Spitfire and F-86 are also affected, F14 seems to behave normal.
  2. I disagree, mouse pointer movement by head movement works fine in VR, why not just reuse it for jester menu? (At least provide the option for it) Only if you look straight foreward when opening jester menu. Otherwise you cannot use it at all. And precise selection would be still possible with less head movement. But it is propably hard to teach the developer who implemented the selection line to remove it again. Even if it is buggy. I agree. Definitely, but it requires some fine tuning to be "more comfortable".
  3. I agree, assuming that he knows my intensions very well. Unfortunately, there is a long way to create an AI knowing what I am currently going for. This is the point where simulation differs from reality. And I am pretty sure that ther is communication like "scan wide/narrow" from pilot to RIO in real life as well.
  4. Given I open the jester menu, and I put the selection line to menu item 1 (or any other), and I press the defined hotkey for menu 3 (jester menu right), then menu item 1 is selected instead of menu item 3. In combination with the other bug of the desyncronised selection line in VR it is no fun to talk to jester in VR at the moment.
  5. Why is this issue stated as "NO BUG"? Is there any workaround for it? This bug makes jester menu not only unusable, it makes no sense at all. Once you opened the jester menu in VR without looking straight forward (e.g. in a dogfight), not only you cannot use it but you cannot close it as well because the selection line is pointing to a menu as soon as you look straight forward, so I have to remember where my head position roughly was at the point of time opening the menu and hoping I don't hit any other menu when trying to close it. This IS A BUG. There is no point to do it like that. Please keep the selection line centered with your view like the jester menu itself. How should I operate a selection line with a centered position from where I cannot even see the jester menu?

Editing the LUA files keeps your personal settings as default settings for every flight. Othewise I have to change it for every flight again. Unless I have a data cartridge, I will continue editing the files. Keep in mind that every update overwrites your changes and you have to redo it. But better once per update than once per flight.
  7. Check my track file. I am neither in BVR or DGFT override mode and the bomb is actually released. But at the same button press, the 120 fires.
  8. I think this is reproducible by NOT switching to A/A before releasing bombs (other to say directly entering A/G mode). Track file comes with next post.
  9. I think you are talking about this bug: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=257305
  10. Maximum resolution of human eyes I think you have to first update your eyes in order to process that:
  11. After flying 30+ flight hours exclusively in the viper, I picked out the hornet for a mission yesterday, only waiting eagerly to land and hop back in my unfinished f-16. I tried it one more time with the JF-17 and had the same effect. Maybe it is a question of passion, the Viper is for me the most enjoyable plane yet in DCS. But most likely I would even try to fly this thing without wings. I am more than happy to be able to participate as a test pilot for this model and as a test pilot I won't complain about missing features and bugs. How should I? However, my only critics might address the priorities. Seeing an F-16 right now in the air which is in specific items (e.g. TWS, LGB) more capable than the F-18 which is out for more than one year looks strange. However, as fan of the F-16 I should not complain too much. This would be my personal top wishlist for fixes: 1. TGP Steerpoint offset / CZ support 2. LGB / TGP INS drift issue 3. adding additional waypoints 4. delivering harms The first three take away many options in multiplayer environments. I am excited about the new wing flex, looks awesome to me, but I hope that thins like above will not get lost in features like this. The number of crashes is very low and basically all offered features work with - let's say - an acceptable level of bugs. That is a big achievement when I see at the same time the passion in form of the level of details, the developers put in the simulation. Weak points in testing are longtime-flights (with refueling and rearming) and "multiplayability". Add this to your test scenarios, it's worth it. Finally, nevertheless, even with all the limitations, everytime I enter the cockpit I am having the feeling that the plane is far more capable than I am. Please, ED, keep it like that. Don't forget to finish up things. :-)
