  1. I tell you, I've been bitched by Betty on this issue more than once.... Ineptness I guess
  2. I guess that we are all a bunch of "old timers" around here ... LOL -- feels good to know that we're all in good company! Cheers!
  3. I'm Beta 4 and just recorded it yesterday - so, it seems to be an issue with Time Skip -- but no problem, I can deal with it .... maybe will be addressed in a later release. Never tried to Time-Skip in FC/2 or BS - so it "could" be a WIP ... not an issue for me otherwise.
  4. Great story! Yeah, loved that one too.. In fact, funny you even mention it, I was just thinking about that sim on New Years day... - I liked how you had to make the TOT and then climb and "Loft" the bomb on target [timing was key to mission] ... for it's time, it was a really geat sim of its day! :smilewink: Just wonder, when "Beta 5" will be released ... ok, ok, being patient here...
  5. >>For me at least tracks are broken as in they hardly ever play back as happend in flight. I just tried it and you're correct -- the Track played-out much differently .. it must be the sim engine being corrupt by the time-skip somehow...
  6. Ok, 3 mins or 4 mins ... LOL  Yep, it really isn't hard to learn after repetative iterations ... remember being a pilot "is by the numbers" anyway -- total memorization (but always go by the checklist; as the older you get - volatile memory tends to fail...
  7. Rog, thanks for the quick reply!
  8. Is it possible? I don't remember the key cmd for that .. couldn't find it in the Flight Manual and I did have a Keyboard.pdf but deleted by accident...
  9. When Wingmen #3 and #4 accidentally have a mid-air collision when forming up in formation after a rejoin command... #4 bit the dust and #3 landed with damage...
  10. Yes, I believe they haven't implemented it - I recommend learning the Ramp (Cold) Start - once learned you can start-up and taxi within 3 mins or so... plus, it's part of the extreme realism of the sim.
  11. You too!!
  12. Because Yaw will make one wing go faster than the other - thus increasing lift on one side and a yaw-induced roll-effect is presented. That's normal aviation dynamics.
  13. Thanks -- printed it out in true color!!!
  14. Everytime I leave the Taxiway or Runway, I get stuck everytime...
  15. I didn't notice this before Beta 4, but contrails (vapor) off the wingtips when pulling a few G's in a turn (at low alt)..
  16. Perfect!!! Thanks, I give it a try when I get home from work today... I spent like 20 mins yesterday trying to figure it out ... and got frustrated....
  17. How do you configure the "Pinky" button on the Stick? I'm tying to change it to simulate a L+CTRL so that I don't have to use 2 hands to Trim the plane. [left hand on L+CTRL and the right thumb on the hat]
  18. Well, since I've received the HOTAS Warthog and Beta4 no CTD's what-so-ever ... been real smooth and it's been a great Joy!
  19. I tried that and it didn't do anything... Edit: I figured it out ... was in the wrong area... thanks!
  20. I just got my TM Hotas Warthog today (thank GOD!!!) - anyway - I'm not sure how to program the "Rotary Wheel" - I'd like to make my "zoom in/out" option but A-10C doesn't seem to recognize it (within the Control panel). Pls let me know how to set it up? ps. All of the other default HOTAS functions work perfectly.. Thanks
  21. I 2nd that!!! Thanks, and have a very Merry Christmas to all !!!!!!:megalol:
  22. Thanks - I do plan to plug it directly into the computer - if I can ... gotta look at my arrangement.... and I do use a USB Hub ...
  23. Thanks, that's what I figured.
  24. For those of you that have a Hotas Warthog - simple question: how many USB plugs does it have 1 or 2? I ordered one yesterday and it will be here tomorrow and I'm hurting for open USB ports.
