  1. you know that the F-16 is called Viper? like the A-10 Thunderbolt II is called Warthog. So i dont see a reason why there wont be a DCS - F-16 Viper :D :joystick:
  2. so Beta 6 is coming next week and release of the Sim will be the week after? if the statement from the interview is still up-to-date?
  3. same happend to me. played the mission two times, and both times two Blackhawks collided... so only one was left and mission cant be accomplished.
  4. yes  with the clickable cockpit it is very good playable, allmost all switches you need you can click in the cockpit. :smilewink:
  5. omg!!! awesome! :D
  6. I think bright is for day and dimmed for the night?
  7. You dont have to set anything on the mission editor to see your wingmen. You see all ka-50 on the abris if they have the same frequency as you (default 127.500) and then you can share datalink targets with them. For Mutliplayer you have to set your ID in the Cockpit (right Panel), leader takes ID1, wingmen ID2 to ID4. Just Name your flights for the mission like 1.1, 1.2 or something so the pilot who flys in 1.1 can set his ID to 1 and 1.2 to ID2 etc. If you have more then 4 human players one flight takes frequency 127.500 the other 127.600 or whatever because you only can set IDs from 1-4 so thers arent two player who have ID 2.
  8. You have to create a second flight and set it to client, then make the same loadout/waypoints etc. Its not possible to make a human 2-ship-flight in DCS.
  9. and who would play that minimalst version? guns and rockets only and the gauges blacked out? no electronics in a high tec aircraft?... sounds to me as exciting as a race game where you can drive only in the 1. gear and without opponents or like HAWX :D
  10. RWin + Home works fine for autostart in Beta 4, and RWin + End for auto shutdown.
  11. yeah its very hard to hold exact level of the aircraft, but with some practice you do better :) you can see that in my replay, sometimes i can hold perfect level and then i go up and down and up and down... :smilewink: if you approach the tanker first open your fuel door because that messes your trimm up, then fly as near as possible to the tanker and figure out whats the exact speed of the tanker (i set the tanker speed in my replay to 240kts but if flys only around 225kts). Then trimm your aircraft for that speed, i didnt changed my trim afterwards because you dont need to (tanker speed should not change). i only did veeeeery little corrections with my throttle and stick. :joystick:
  12. Hi i made a refueling replay for you, i got 4 or 5 times disconnected but thats no big deal just press the NWS-button and your light goes from disconnect to ready and then try to reconnect. I am not that good in refueling but at least i got filled up. :) I started with 25% fuel and did it till the end, they just say "transfer complete" if you are filled up and disconnect you. In the replay you can see in the right down corner the fuel gauge. The important thing is to watch the refuel pipe and the green marking on it, allways try to keep the green marking on the exit of the bigger pipe. If the marking goes in or out just correct your speed or go a bit up/down to keep it green. If the green marking is masked behind the upper cockpit frame you are to low. I hope you understand what i mean :D Refueling.trk
  13. just install the beta in a new folder, thats it ;)
  14. i have Beta 2 and Beta 4 installed now, works fine! Beta 2 for Nevada map :joystick: :D i think you can install as many beta´s as you want.
  15. My system is AMD Phenom II x4 965, ATI 5770, 8GB Ram. Took me about 5 minutes on white screen on first start to compile the files... but the loading times of the missions are now very quick! and tabbing out to windows and back with fullscreen works now... :) Beta 4:
  16. omg! amazing.... 1920x1080 all details on HIGH! even the water...bushes on 500meter! runs smoooooooth... and no haze !!!! :) i love it :D and there are vapour trails on the wings :D
  17. what a nice x-mas gift! thx Wags! :)
  18. i dont use it, i like it better without that :) for A-10C its perfect without for a fighter a detent would be great but a small bump not that mount everest of the TM Warthog :)
  20. i agree with that, in my opinion its a pointless vote... F-22 and F-35 we sure wont see as next DCS module, to much classified... and a F-14 two-seater? i dont think so. the only real possibility is the F/A-18 .... and a poll for one aircraft? as i said, pointless. ;)
  21. if you hold down the trim button while manouwering the autopilot wont fight you... if you try to change the heading the autopilot allways try to keep your actual heading, so if you try to turn left with rudder input the autopilot will turn your rudder to the right to keep your heading. its simple once you understood how it works, while you hold down the trim button you override the autopilot channels, so the autopilot wont try to hold your heading/pitch/roll and fight you. just press the button as long you are manouwering and if you reached your heading and the heli is stable release it and the autopilot will keep your new heading and pitch/roll.
  23. 8:55 UTC +1 got over the last hour more often the "try again later page"
  24. shouldnt number 22 (EAC ARM) come after number 28 (EGI to NAV) ? if you do it before your EAC switch wont stay in the armed position.
