When operating at speeds above 250 kts IAS, the vertical trim works as expected (although somewhat slow). However, when the IAS drops below 240 kts. a slight touch of the vertical trim button (Chinese Hat) causes a large elevator deviation resulting in either an excessive nose up or down attitude (Gear and/or flaps down or not). No, shouted "Hurray" too early. The same issue happened again...another repair (..and another upgrade !!!) fixed the issue....till I started DCS up again the following day. Did follow an earlier suggestion to active "subtitles" under Audio but , again, Messages do not show. Appreciate suggestions to fix this issue. Regards, Murdok.

Some missions include Messages popping up on screen at set times as specified in the Mission Editor. However, I am unable to see those messages. Obviously there is something wrong with the way I have setup DCS World. Appreciate advice as how to correct this. Regards, Murdok.

Having a lot of fun with this Mod., but running into some issues; - Sidewinders do not lock on. Continue growling, but no lock tone. - LABS - Function Selection Switch position not working. Have to use the Comp. setting instead - Radar A/G Setting (LABS) - Radar locks on to anything as soon as the nose of the aircraft dips below the horizon Anyone else having the same or similar issues? The KAFA is a very nice addition to any airfield, however, when installed ATC transmissions such as “hold position”, “unable to clear for take off”, and my favourite “go to alternate”, result and appear to be directly connected to the Mod. DCS regards the system this as an "Obstruction", hence the resulting ATC instruction(s). I ran several simple missions with and without the Mod and without fail, “with” resulted in having to go to an alternate, while “without” resulted in the usual ATC banter (Steer xxx° for xx nm, QNH, Rwy in use). Any suggestions other then "don't use it"?

If the KAFA Mod. is part of your DCS setup, perhaps one of you jocks can run a simplified mission following the above criteria and see if you get the same result. Regards. I did read a posted conversation similar to this, but applicable to carrier operations. My flying is purely to/ from land based airfields. Any solutions to fix this irritating issue? Murdok.
