  1. We tried the above with codes 1111, which appear to be valid. I'll have to try it again at some stage.
  2. Excellent!! Good stuff mate!!
  3. I've done all you suggested above NDP - I do not see a tanker freq in the AM Comms menu. I've set mine to 150AM and its not on the AM comms menu.
  4. Yes, It was changed through the DSMS page. I meant GBU code, not laser code!
  5. Yes, as I stated in my post. I changed my bomb code to 1111 and the other player changed their LSS code to 1111 also. No joy for us.
  6. We tried MP buddy lasing. I set my laser code to 1111 and the other member set their LSS to 1111. I manually lased the target and the other guy could slave their tgp to my tgt, but when we tried dropping using my laser, we kept getting NOLAS signals.
  7. Tried buddy lasing from 2 A10s - doesn't seem to work.
  8. Navaids - is that bad? I hear there are quite good drugs for that now a days and you can live quite a long and normal life compared to if you'd got it in the eighties. :-O
  9. Bah humbug :-)
  10. Anyone know how to draw a kill box in the TAD?
  11. Could someone possibly help me out here. In an mp flight, we were trying to do some buddy lasing. I had set my laser code to 1111 and the other member set their lss code to the same. I locked up the target with the tgp using the laser and the L was flashing. I was about ten thousand and trying to maintain a good los the whole time with the tgp. The other member came in, and hit lss. The tgp just said NOLAS all the time, however, his tgp was directly over the lasing point and would track when I moved my tgp. There was no indication of a DETECT notice. What were we doing wrong? We were unable to get a good solution and the lss would eventually revert to the normal tgp screen. I thought we would be able to lock up and drop a bomb using the other flight members laser alone, it turns out that all we were able to do was to find the laser spot of the other member and then do a normal lgb drop. Any help on this would be appreciated :-)
  12. Cool - Will have another go at these later :-) Just for completeness sakes!
  13. Ah, OK. That'll answer my question then :-)
  14. Is there a way to allow the environment audio to come out of my main speakers but the comms audio come out of my headset? I suppose I could get TS to come out of the headset while the game is on the Speakers, but I wondered if in DCSW there would be a way to separate in game sounds and helmet/comms audio. Cheers.
  15. Brilliant - just what I was looking for :-)
  16. Well, it was actually the CDU I was wanting help with. Thanks for those links. I've checked him out lots before :-)
  17. Anyone got any good links/info on correct use of the EGI with examples or links to vids? Can't really see any on youtube I'm struggling to get to grips with it.
  18. No probs here what so ever. Duel booted to begin with and was fully prepared to take win8 off and put it in a desk drawer till SP1 launch, but when I installed it, it worked flawlessly. I bought it for my laptop too. Needless to say I wiped my machine and did a fresh install of win8 and do not now use win7.
  19. This continues to happen right after I get released to RTB from the JTAC at Camp Yankee. CTDs every time. Why is this? Is it bugged?
  20. Easy comms? Nah. I'd rather the full sim experience.
  21. Checked in with JTAC and got some scripted directive calls but no 'JTAC' response. Also, CTD'd on egress which was a shame cos it is a fun mission!
  22. Just flew this mission for about an hour and a half. After getting the go ahead to RTB, I egressed. At stpt 7, I flew low and turned onto stpt 8. Following the river at about 200 ft NOE, I flew over a town near a hill while following the river. Then, DCS stopped working. Wierdly, it kicked me back into an old debrief I had from another attempt. Any suggestions?
  23. You are right. There is a JTAC. However, when I checked in last time I didn't recieve any info from it. I will try it again :-)
  24. No JTAC in that mission. It's more a seek and destroy mission. I was just wondering whether there was a better way of 'seeking'. Seems to take ages to find some of the targets. It just doesn't seem a very responsive method for an immediate call for help!
  25. Whilst flying Defend Camp Yankee, I am trying to use all systems as thoroughly as possible in order to find targets assigned. Hook from the stpt and ranging out to bearing and stated range (can't remember the hook setting name - not hook own or hook bull, the other one!), make a markpoint and then slew all to that point and search. when I eventually find the culprits, they are usually a few miles out from the sitrep I receive about that particular attacking force. To locate, I use a look out with the Mk 1 eyeball in the general area and use the TGT pod in a kind of search pattern and hope that I come across the target. Is that the best way to do it?
