  6. Welcome to the forum. i used to jump out of C-130's and the odd Chinook for a living. DSC is the best, i also have the HP reverb VR but i take it slowly as it gives me a headache and a sick feeling, especially when spinning into the ground after getting shot, happens a lot. :) Get yourself another 16gb of ram, and enjoy.
  7. Lot of good advice and tips. I too want to take the leap into MP. Do you use a keyboard or bind a button on your joystick to push to talk? I have the TM warthog HOTAS
  8. I bought the Ka-50 (2) a few months ago, and like it very much. Now i see there is a heli bundle on offer. It still cheaper to buy all 4 choppers that only the 3 i don't have, so as i already have the Ka 50, can i gift it to someone if its possible?

  15. What a fantastic mission, thanks Naked. Shot down 2 bogeys before i blacked out and crashed. But to be fair it did take me a dozen goes to take off, trying to keep the Spitfire on the runway was a challenge, but i thoroughly enjoyed it

  18. Good morning. I've checked and in the modules installed i have the Normandy map in the terrain section. I've removed it using the bin, then reinstalled it but still not there. Screen shot of the bought module. Also there no WWII asset pack grayed out on the bottom of the main page

  20. I've set up my new HP Reverb according to Thud, but when i launch DCS in VR im not inside the cockpit, im in a hanger sat on a wing. i can see the screen to the desktop at me feet, how do i fly in VR so im actually in the cockpit guys? Edit now in sitting on the top of the plane
  21. Got home last night from working offshore. Excited to begin my DCS journey. Installed DCS normal version from ED website. So not steam. When it first loaded it was in half screen so i clicked full screen in settings. then it reopened, when i hover over a command from the right of the main screen the mouse curser is there but the command click is where the half screen was, so to click a command i have to put the mouse curser about 6 inches high and about 45 degrees to the left, then the command is highlighted. Also i have my monitor resolution's set but still get a warning to change the resolution to the recommended setting, but it already is. Any help please, i want to play:)
  22. Welcome to the money pit
  23. Hi Chuck Thank you for the manuals, there going to be a great help. You mentioned an updated A-10C manual, do you have a release date? I plan on taking full advantage of the company laser printer
  24. Thanks for moving my post to the correct section. Famously Tornado pilot John Peters and his navigator John Nichol were shot down over Iraq during a bombing mission in the first Gulf War. He was interrogated, tortured and paraded on television. The mission was Ar Rumaylah airfield. they were going in at 25ft above the ground, at 650-700mph. Some flying,
