Fully agree with Pilot Ike and Alpenwolf. Let's keep these planes on until a suitable replacement arrive. Alpenwolf, in regards of the communication issue that you have raised a few times, is there perhaps a way to limit the choices of com's and just stick to perhaps SRS? Great mission tonight!! We loved it, especially the non-awacs part. It made it more realistic and intense, never really knowing where the enemy was. Thank you as well for the SU25’s and the R60M’s, we had a great time pounding the ground targets. I have been helping out on the Blue side the last weeks when the red side is overwhelming. Been taking out the Harrier at every chance that I get, since it is my favorite blue striker, and cleaning out the target areas of long range hazards for the Hilos. Been keeping the line open with the Huyes and Gazelles on SRS which was greatly appreciated by them. So much so that we spend chatting away when landed at their FARP after I loaded up with a pair of Zunis. My request is to put 2 Harrier per mission, just so that we can work hand in hand with the Hilos. The Harrier really sucks in air to air, but does as good job as the SU25 ground pounding. I fully agree with the choice of taking away AWACS, makes perfect sense. EWR’s inserted by hilo’s at recently taken objectives makes even more sense.. Fixed wing will be forced to gather at one specific area at a time due to the reduction of Awacs free flight model, where everyone are on their own mission.

Our latest thing is to only focus on the Hilo’s and support them in any way we can. CAP/CAS.. you name it. Prepping the road for them, so that the objectives can be achieved safer and at a faster pace. Our 2 main fixed wing vehicles are the SU25A and the Harrier. Both are excellent support aircraft. I fully agree with you, cooperation between the wings is becoming a major factor.

Five Points Unleashed was awesome tonight, SU25’s were doing air cover for our 3 Hilos and ground pounding. We even fought away the F5’s that were supporting the Hueys that were inbound for Krasnodar. We only had 1 MiG21 and he had issues with connection so we could not rely on him. Thank you for allowing the 25’s to have the R60M’s.. they REALLY came handy! Guns would have not been enough. Struggled a bit with the SAM’s at Novorossiysk, so we will definitely bring in the KA50 next time :) [RED DEVILS]-NELLUS

Hi Alpenwolf, We flew the Abu Dabhi mission the other night and would have needed the 25A for some pounding of enemy ground forces. I cant amplify this enough since there is always something to pound on every mission. The 25A group has grown together with the 25T, but as you said, the 25A is a more realistic option to have. Only 2 extra planes per every mission would be a fantastic start. Just an addition to that.. is there a way to always have enough R60M missiles for the 25A? The reason for that is that when the 60M’s run out then we are not able to load the 60’s since it does not apply to it. We become sitting ducks on the field. I got some feedback from the Red Devils Hilo team and they are asking politely if the flight distances for the Hilos can be reduced. They are all counting Goats on their long flights between objectives.. and are really starting to annoy the hell out of the fixed wing team with their boring jokes.. :/

Yes, you were right about the 25A! As always hehe.. Flew it on 5 Towns today and it performed, and what I liked is that there were unlimited R60M’s. Flew it on a mission the other day, cant remember which one, and we actually had to leave it behind because not even half way thru the mission the R60M’s had finished, and there were never R60’s to begin with so we were without any defensive weapons. Please can you ensure that there is always unlimited R60M’s available like on the 5 Towns mission ???????? We are currently working on a SRS GCi organization/streamline that will work for larger flights, get back to you on that when ready. Our team is growing fast and we are starting to struggle with coms. That Abu Dabhi mission yesterday was mental, really enjoyed it, and the cherry on top was the 29 at the end ???? my all time favorite aircraft! Fair enough :) Please can we have at least 2 SU25A in every mission then. They have turned out to be a working horse for the Red team. Loaded with ground pounding rockets from a road base is absolutely fine as well, just like you did with the L39! Thank you, [RED DEVILS]-NELLUS

I fully understand, and it would be absolute great to have everyone on coms! The unfortunate reality is that we are about 6 - 10 aviators at the evening missions, and that is about what our GCi can handle. He is finished by the end of the 3-4 hour session. This leaves little space for another 10 aviators, would be a total meltdown. I have spoke to a few flyers on the Blue side and they have voiced that they need at least 2 AV8B’s on every mission to have for surgical strikes against the Red’s, even though it is a CAP mission. Great to have for sabotage strikes against the enemy airbase and their FARP’s. This would be great for the balance of the mission and variation. Thank you for listening :) [RED DEVILS]-NELLUS

Hi Alpenwolf! Great work on the missions, you really have created a community around this and it rocks! We are 7 SU25T pilots that would really like to have the SU25T on every mission. Even if you could start them of in a road somewhere or a distant airport. You might have noticed that the SU25 has got allot of love the last month, and we would love to continue doing that, but we need more planes and missions that include them. We also take them up for air to air engagements so ground targets are not necessary. Thank you!
