  1. Can you also share the internals? That thing is really nice!
  2. Yup, pretty sure that's that one, Cas mission! Decides to try straffing (without success) since I wasn't capable to effectively release any of my bombs... Do the guys on the ground lase for me?
  3. Thanks a lot guys, will try asap! Btw, do any of you remember the name of that mission? From what I remember, it's not in the Caucasus map, since the mission is over a pretty much desertic area (there's also a KC135 near the sea front), with a bunch of high hills. Mission starts with a VF-11 bird if I recall, and we start with GBU16 x 4, AIM-9 x2 and AIM-7 x2 (+ a full load of 20mm)
  4. Hi Gents, Was flying a bombing mission recently (CAS mission armed with 4 GBU-16, but no LTS pod, just AIM-7 and AIM-9 on both wing stations). Had the HUD set on A/G mod, with the "vertical cue" visible on the HUD. I'm also using the Virpil VFX stick on a TM Warthog base. Can anyone tell me how to actually release my bombs? Thank you
  5. Got a question folks... Just received my set, but how can you see anything on these? Need a small LCD screen?
  6. Finished the second mission last night. Decided to take off with a VF-11 bird, armed with 6 AIM-54Cs instead of the standard 4-2-2 load. Mission went well, and trapped with 4 Phoenixes and 2 Winders. I'm not that bad to trap, but AAR is another story...
  7. Is this the mini campaign with 3 missions that's in DCs already? (may have been added along with the Gulf maps) Played first mission last night. Launched in VF-11 with 4 AIM-54C, 2 AIM-7M and 2 AIM-9M, and we were pretty successful. All my long and medium range missiles scored hits, and we've been told to RTB. All mission went OK, but I landed too hard after a wave off, resulting in a crash...
  8. But the VKB is only compatible with VKB stuff where the Virpil fits the TM Warthog base
  9. Aren't you talking about the Throttleteck one?
  10. Got the Virpil on my TM base, love the feel of it
  11. I personally think this module is very realistic. I have something like 50-60 traps, with around 10-15 bolter, and 1 crash... But despite the fact the Tomcat is a hard learning aircraft, I truly enjoy flying it, but it may be just cause I love that bird... (love F-14D BuNo 163894 in VF-2 colors...)
  12. Would be great, thanks a lot!
  13. That's an interesting thread! Quick question though... How do assign the HSD and VDI to the TM MFDs? (I plan on getting them for a "cockpit like" set up (have the TM Warthog stick-throttle-pedals combo, and am waiting on my Virpil stick) and am quite interested in the MFDs (they will be great when the F-14D will be released), but dunno if it's possible to assign the VDI to one MFD and the HSD to the second one... Thanks in advance!
  14. Let's hope either Virpil or VKB (or both of them) will make one!
  15. Was just sharing the infos I received, and asking for opinions
  16. Cool to see that this thread interests folks! I also just asked Virpil if they could make a throttle quadrant, no reply so fat
  17. Well, after having readed this thread, ans especially post #191, F-14D-165-GR BuNo163894, aka Bullet 100 from the Bounty Hunters of VF-2 would be wonderful!
  18. That's sad, that was the only option (as we speak) to get Tomcat throttles... Hope there will be some in the near future!
  19. Thanks a lot for your feedback!
  20. Yup, that's that one. Also told me they are custom made, and DCS compatible And the vid I was refering to is Jabber's AAR one if memory's right
  21. Hi Gents, While on the wait for my new joystick (a TM Warthog and a Virpil grip), I came across some AAR vids. In the comments, I fell on a ThrottleTek guy who said he actually builds Tomcat throttle quadrants. I contacted him, and price for a quadrant is 1400$, shipping included Did any of you guys hear of this? Is there anyone else who makes Tomcat quadrants?
  22. Is there any chance for VF-11 skins of their last Tomcat cruise? (they were in the F-14B at this time Thanks a lot!
