Nice to see that the TOW is still in use. Back in 1981 when i was send to Lebanon we already operated the TOW in our DAF YP408 were i was a driver Very accurate weapon for it's time, and at the time it forced some respect from the locals:) Firing a live TOW at the shooting range in the Netherlands. Optics were often used to scan the area (Dutchbat UN in Lebanon). Liked to share this:)

Knock knock, ... Hello mr.Pogosyan we are from Eagle Dynamics and we wan't to create a DCS Su27SM. Do you have some detailed information for us, because we can't find all data on Youtube! :) Cheers, Wasserfall
-
Thanks! DCS Su27 is in the near future, so than it will be a complete rebuild! At last working switches (a lot) :)

Unfortunately the stick is on hold for now. HPO has stopped working on it, we very much regret that. If we ever continue work on the stick we will let you know. Regards, Wasserfall

i agree on this and that stealth has an advantage, that's clear to me:) Just pointed out that it can be detected. btw, their working on this, maybe interesting. BnrA4VfjgPI and radar. http://www.thalesgroup.com/pharos/ Cheers!

As i wrote, and already asked him. Yes Thales Smart L can detect the F22. Maybe i could have left out the "sorry" part, but what i meant is that Stealth isn't invisible on radar. You may not believe what i'm writing here, that's oke. But my brother in law is an authority on the subject! It was, and is never my intention to disagree with anyone, but this is something i wanted to share. Cheers!

Stealth @GGTharos, Just had a nice conversation with my brother in law about the Smart L radar vs. stealth in this case the F22. He acknowledged to me that the F22 is indeed detectable at distances > then 65km. The key lies in the software! (in combination with the hardware). i'm not going to tell how it's done, because i lack the knowledge:), but you have to believe me that he does! This is first hand information! So yes the future is already there!, i'm sorry.

No problem, i will talk with him, see what info i can get

To be honest i have a close family member who is involved in this project, he is a professor. Unfortunately i can' t go into detail about it, it' s to " sensitive". But the future is near:)

Friday Update Appreciation Thread
wasserfall replied to VincentLaw's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Matt, i HIGHLY APPRECIATE these updates, please keep doing them because without information/communication there would be even more speculation (and negative posts). Regards, Wasserfall -
When viewing forward the afterburning indicator lights are not visible. See screenshot, i this normal or is the Hud assembly protruding to much toward the pilot.

RIP Jim!!, he was a remarkable man, a great loss to the simcommunity:( We (DFDT) as a team, met him severable times at the LLTM and Flightsim weekend Aviodrome. He always was very passioned about Flightsimming, and we had great conversations with him and his wife Dee. Now they are both gone, may they rest in peace. But i'm sure he is watching us from the virtual sky's.
