Lasers galore on the 99th tonight which was really rad! Watching A-10's do gun runs and returning AAA fire was pretty wild. NVG's produce a weird pixelated raining effect, which is quite strange!

I think 250 is what works, that's what I'm set on and haven't had an issue. Edit: Campaign inconsistencies thread in the DLC campaigns forum> A-10 red flag> problems, it also mentions this. "Lineup Card: Ownship UHF 251, but in fact it's 250. Wingman doesn't talk or respond on 251."

I'm Nick, been on these forums for forever now. Was playing Lock on way back (jeez, 7ish years ago now?!). I was never seriously into simming and played more for the enjoyment of just shooting things up. I got the A-10C preorder as a gift but my computer couldn't handle it and being young I just couldn't put the time in to properly learn it. Recently over the last year or so I've found myself wanting to actually learn about the aircraft and get more in depth with everything. I picked up an X-55 to replace my old X-52 and finally put my mind to finally learning the A-10C. Eventually I'd like to build a more serious cockpit and possibly even get Oculus Rift should the new one turn out to be great resolution that works well with DCS. Excited to slowly join in and fly with others! I also take photos in DCS sometimes, I do photo's of drifting in real life, however I lack the total control I have in games sometimes as well as the subject! This is my slow going photo album on flickr for DCS!

haha I'll check out the mod for sure. (Btw, wicked you're from Wellington!) Lol i never went to computer school, hell i'm only in my last year of high school ahah I just know a ton of computer stuff cause my friend does a ton of Ipod/phone Jailbreaking things and teaches me lol. Edit: Awwww yah it worked lol. Just put the su-27 keys into the f-18 thing and now im droppin bombs :D thanks for all the help!

Yah aahah, I tried to use link for VNAO and i don't know what happened but internet had a seizure and closed. everytime. Not a problem though. I'll tell you how it goes too. Edit: No-go, lol all this to fly a cf-18 ahah I'll keep trying. I'm thinking of possibly just copying the su-27's keyboard file and just pasting it in there as a test and backing up the hornets. That way if things don't work I still have the original.

Yah, Definetely thinking of it. I was wondering if I would be able to add a key command. If I were to use the SU cockpit, I have the ability to get into A-G mode, I just don't have the keys. Where it says the keys, it lacks the A-G mode key because it's the hornet and it's classified as hornet and I don't think as multirole like a mig-29. So is it possible to actually add that command in and just have it as "7"? Thanks for the help so far!

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll definetely take a look at VNAO, and try Riptides advice. I'll let ya know how it goes! Edit: Tried the code editing, no success, i'll go over it again to double check I didn't do anything different. Also, It'd probably help if I told you I'm using FC2. I'm just finding VNAO mod right now. Edit2: Clean reinstall of the MOD itself, worked. F-15 cockpit works (Thanks Riptide!) now it's just a matter of learning how to drop the bombs due to lack of AG mode.

I'm 100% not sure where to put this but theres an addon for LOFC2 that allows you to fly the f-18a/c and harrier. As for the f-18, anyone know how to switch the cockpit from the SU-27 to the f-15's cockpit cause currently there is no way to drop A-G Ordnance. Or a way to change the commands because pressing 7 won't let me switch. I Know the 15 doesn't have a-g but is there a way to make a command for it?

I think it'd be cool to have c-17s fly off to a small airstrip to deliver supplies, watch the doors open as tanks roll out or jeeps or even just normal supplies, that or air drops would be amazing.
