When I hit trim (I have already tried the keyboard and HOTAS and have verified I have no conflicting controls) the diamond on my HUD is not updating. Is this a bug? Anyone know how to fix this?

In my opinion this would be a LOT better if a SMALL neodymium magnet and a thin metal disk were used to mount the HMS (provided it could be done without affecting gyroscopic tracking) and wireless. Recharging could be done with a USB cable, which would be easy since with my idea the HMS would simply be mounted with a magnet and could be disconnected for easy recharging. Though I find the tech exciting I really don't want yet another cord attaching my head to the PC. The VR units cable is bad enough. I think I will wait for version 2 and see if the tech gets refined a bit. I do appreciate this "first generation" effort by the creator though and will continue to watch this product. I have no doubt many users will find great use with this product.

Note the developer did not weigh in on this at all. It's been YEARS...... Just how patient are we supposed to be?

I am looking for a webcam that can mount to a monitor and faces straight down instead of forward. The reason I need this is to superimpose a PiP in VR so I can see my flight peripherals.

No. I am not sure about the dates but, I sourced the information from the DCS website itself. If the dates are wrong it is because the dates provided by DCS themselves are incorrect.

Well to be honest I DO have TrackIR 4 but I am actually using OpenTrack with a PlayStation 3 cam and a hybrid infrared (UTC MK II) and gyroscopic (EDTracker) solution. The Yaw and Pitch and Roll work perfect (EDTracker) and sometimes the X, Y, Z (infrared) work well but not always.

I play on a large screen (50") and this causes issues with my TrackIR. When I lean forward or back it also registers it as up and down. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it. I rather not mount the camera behind me if possible as I sit at an L shaped desk with 2 screens and that would cause mobility issues not to mention cord routing issues.

As far as UNIGINE....... I am 42 years old and have come up through the home PC era. In those years I have seen things like this that were amazing but were more or less tech demo's and were not actually viable for user software. Until I see this in an actual application I will reserve judgement regarding how "amazing" it is. Anyone who enjoys games or simulators can attest to how effective an edited presentation can be.

First off I noticed Belsimtek is not listed under the third party developers on ED forums, which I find surprising after reading this in the ED newsletter. The Mi-24P is the next helicopter we are bringing to DCS World, created by the same the same team behind the DCS: Mi-8MTV2. This iconic attack helicopter will feature both front and back seat cockpits (including network and coop play). We are confident that it will be the most realistic simulation of the Mi-24P ever created and will add more outstanding game play for DCS World. If they are developing the next helo why are they not listed in the ED forums 3rd party developer list? After the Hawk incident this has me VERY nervous. I am very confused by this. My second question is about something I saw on the Belsimtek website. https://belsimtek.com/projects/67/ I thought the F-15C was a carry over from the lock on days. However here it seems Belsimtek is taking credit for not only the airframe but the combat sim (or combatsim as they put it) as well.

Yes but I would like to see who is calling and have the ability to accept/reject calls. Again bonus if it has white list features so I only have people calling me that I actually WANT to talk to. I work nights and had an issue with telemarketers waking me up. I have home phone service as part of my internet package so I bought a home phone and a white list call blocker. Now I NEVER get woke up but I can still allow certain people to reach me (people who know I work nights so would not call me for frivolous reasons). Given I don't like to be interrupted by nonsense calls during gaming (especially something I can't pause like an online flight) a white list call blocker function would be greatly appreciated. To me that is the golden chalice. Software I can easily use while gaming equipped with caller ID that allows white list call blocking features. I can't be the only one that would value this product..... there has to be a market for it.

I have google voice however, that is not designed to allow someone to accept calls while running gaming software. Also the site tends to need frequent reloading, otherwise the Google Voice web page just stops working.

Why is there no software that allows you to take calls on your PC while gaming? For instance when my wife calls (and she tends to have perfect timing to call at the most inopportune times) I have to stop what I am doing..... go hunt my cell phone down (because it is NEVER by me).... and hope I get it before it goes to VM. Why can't I just get the call on my headset while gaming and have a non intrusive window pop up with 3 things.... who is calling, accept, decline. Bonus if it has white list features so I don't have telemarketers calling me during gaming sessions (blacklists are about useless these days).
