Where can I get the A-10C Warthog using the Steam instead of the Protect system that I am currently using. I have lost all of my activations due to attempting to patching A-10C Warthog 1.1.0.6 to 1.1.0.7. The Protect message said that I had 3 activations left. So I uninstalled the A-10C sim and attempted to load the full version of A-10C Warthog 1.1.0.7 and the Protect came back and told me I didn' t have any activations left. Please help with getting my activations back or tell me how to get a Steam version of the sim. I have had nothing but problems with the Protect system. My email address is porter246@roadrunner.com. I purchased a CH Products Fighterstick and Throttle and when I received it, I saw that it was so cheaply made, I packed it up and returned it.

I have never used any CH Products before but is there a way of programming a key combination for the FighterStick to include the rudder without have to purchase a set of peddles???? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I did the changes to the Axes Tune somewhat differantly. I set the Deadzone to "25" and the Curvature to 35 and the A-10C flies as smoothly as can be. I left the other settings at default levels

Does the Ch Fighterstick have any manual adjustments to control how much resistance it takes to move the stick????

DCS has blown every other flight sim out of the sky. Ed and his team of programmers have shown the sim world what a true sim should be like. Great Job Guys!

I changed the labels.lua file to just display a small dot for all the ground targets and got rid of all of the naming convention, etc. You still know where they are but without all of the extra info.

It will free up 174 pages of nothing from your server.

Can you dump the contents of this thread and start a new one, I don't think there's enough information of value in the 173 pages that is worth saving.

I have flown the IL-2 1946 since it's release. I also had all of the individual flight sims prior to the company combining the 6 individual flight sims into one flight sim. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Just make sure that you do all of the updates to the IL-2 1946 sim and I think you will be very pleased with what you end up with for a WWII sim. When you get the sim up and running, setup up you flights to have a plane in every country that is represented in the game. I currently have 49 differant countries, planes, missions, etc. setup in my sim under the "Pilot Career" area. That is a lot of flying with differant countries and planes to keep you busy.

Personally, I wouldn't invest that kind of money on a new product which has not had a proven track record for about a year or more, giving them time to get the hardware and firmware issues worked out. They're basically using the sim community to debug their issues at your expense. I am flying a $40.00 hotas and not having any issues. Knowing that I have a stable hotas then any issues that are happening with DCS A-10C Warthog are not being added to with other thirdparty products.

If someone could help me with getting my F4 view worked out in Flaming Cliff 2, I would appreciate it. I have attached the F4 view which I have set up for Lockon Flaming Cliffs and Ks-50 Blackshark but I can not get the View file changed for Faming Cliffs 2. Any changes I make to the file is not making a differance. Either I am editing the wrong place or the wrong file. I have been editing the Server.cfg file at the same location in the file where I got this view in Flaming Cliffs and Blackshark. What am I doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

With past DCS sims, I have been able to locate and alter the F4 view (Lockon Flaming Cliffs, Black Shark, Lockon 2, etc. but I haven't been able to locate and figure out where to start. In the past I think I altered the Server lua file but not so as I can see in A-10C Warthog. The view I am attempting to alter is LSHIFT F4. Can someone give me a starting point as to where the key is initially written??? Thanks
