For me I seem to be stuck in the Windows Mixed Reality Screen. DCS never transfers to the HMD. Steam vr starts without issues too.. Many times DCS.exe will just go unresponsive. My settings match the screenshot This is a fresh install of DCS i7 6850K @ 3.6Ghz, 64 GB RAM, M2 SSD, NVidia 1080 GTX, Win10 Ent

I have Gig internet. Speed tests are 930MB/s Down and Up. I am reinstalling DCS on a new PC and I'm only getting 0.7Mb/s DL Rate. There must be a better way. I have 20 more GB's to go. At this rate I won't be done for days!

Who do I need to donate to so my beta never expires?!!!! I don't even want to play DCS anymore without this program working.

ok I setup Helios to work well with UltraMFD and not my ultramfd program beta has expired. I see no links to purchase out of beta. I don't even feel like playing anymore now that I got spoiled with ultramfd. Anyone have any links on how to not be stuck in beta?

Hey there. I noticed that I cannot assign the throttle INCR/DECR controls/axis on too many options. I want to be abler to use the slider as pitch trim control. Since I am a real pilot I love having easy access to a trim feature. Any way to code it so that it can see it as trim? Thanks

6 months later I finally decided to go with 3x 46" TVs. I tried out projector and didn't like how the HUD looked and before I purchased above 50" tv's I read a few posts about seeing the pixels sitting that close to the TVs. I am happy with the decision. would be cool to try the VR headsets but then I have the problem of actually seeing the keyboard and controls.

Hello, I am working on a home cockpit that I want to be able mouse click or eventually touchscreen the buttons in the cockpit on the external monitors. What is the best / easiest program to use? Also playing games like Elite Dangerous, X-Plane, FSX, IL2, etc...

I am also thinking about this option as well. I have seen videos of others that use 1 projector but achieve a 180degree fov. Have you been able to test anything out?

I have seen hundreds of setups and have used the 3 monitor setup in a small 24" scale and want to go full immersion (bigger). What is everyone's opinion on monitors or TVs vs projectors? Is the quality hit from the projectors worth it. 3 projectors or 3 large monitors/TVs I see as being relatively the same cost. Are there any performance concerns with either?

I am faced with the question. Go with 3x large display monitors/TVs like the ones listed here or go 3 projectors... Any thoughts?

Is there any technical benefits or just for those who want to have the stick between legs?

Thanks for the replies! After a lot of reading I am going to pick up the Warthog. I have always had a few minor issues with the cougar throttle and now I am also looking forward to this smooth stick control with the Warthog. Since I am re-building my sim in the basement this will be like a new plane. :thumbup: I will reply with a comparison afterwards.

After about 20 hours of reading trying to determine if I want to replace my stock unmodded Cougar with a Warthog I might take the plunge and get the Warthog. Not 100% confident but i have heard a lot of good things and the stick issue on the warthog look like it can be fixed. Although I love the f16. Question: If I wanted to build a custom 2 seat cockpit will the Cougar work alongside the Warthog at the same time. IE: all primary button configs on warthog. Will either person be able to fly?

I hate to bring up old topics... I currently have a stock cougar that I have had for about 10ish years now. The Antenna dial never worked for some reason and I never figured that out... I am rebuilding a sim and on the fence if I should replace it with the warthog or not. I will be flying mostly F16, F15, and A10. I have heard that Stock Cougar sucks and that is what I have but I find it to be ok with it's quirks. I have also heard that Warthog was great except for the center stick issue. How bad are the warthog issues? From Warthog users, is it annoying playing BMS without the throttle mouse? Would you say warthog stick is on par or superior to the Cougar stick?

Screen colors? I am working on my 3rd and new build for a cockpit and I am going almost all out on this one and want at least a 180 degree view. I saw the videos of the black screens and wondering what is the best material and/or paint color for the best display if I were to go with projectors? Also, I see many use front projection instead of back projection. Curious on quality difference? I don't want to be blinded as I am also a real pilot. Thanks
