This will be AWESOME! I am willing to bet that DCS: A-10C will change the way how most sims are reliant 90% on CPU. With grass, that may very well change.

I think you may be wrong on the first comment. I was reading this book written by a hog driver in the gulf war, and he said in there that they rarely used the low rate of fire option since it was a death trap. Maybe he was referring to smoething else though.

Im sure you know already but the FA18 in FSX blows compared to the stuff that is out there now. If your looking for an accurate fa-18 sim, go with the VRS superbug. First of all, its the modern version that the USN and AAF uses, the superhornet. Extremely detailed. Carrier landings are properly conducted, you even get a glide slope and everything.

This is frustrating. Im trying to make a simple guns only mission, with me in the USAF F-15C, and the enemy AI aircraft in the USAF (if thats impossible then israel) F-16C. Whenever i make this in the mission editor, they always are on friendly sides therefore the f-16 does not dogfight me and just sits there. How do I make me on blue and him on red in the mission editor? EDIT - nevermind, I figured it out :)

Sorry for not being in the know, but I just put together a 1000 dollar gaming rig and your telling me that i will have to wait for a 64 bit version of DCS A-10C to come out after the 32 comes out? Or will I be able to still run the 32. Oh, silly me, forgot to mention i have 64bit windows installed due to the RAM advantages.

Anyone wanna do a reskin of the F-16C block 50? The stock one is kinda crappy.

by the way guys Waggs posted a new vid AWESOME footage of A-10C in here. Very good footage of the targeting pod. Im so pumped to play this. coming from the A-10A, this targeting pod looks kickass.

o wow sorry that was stupid. I meant to say hud. So your saying that they flew with their eyes glued to their MFD? also im not seeing any pics of an MFD with a litening image on it. That page provides me with links to different simhq articles.

is this why in the F-15C cockpit there is a button that says AG. look to the right of the attitude indicator in the pic below.

Does anyone know if the LITENING pod image is displayed on the MFD or on the throttle. I don't know which one. F-16's were famous for using these in the gulf war

Holy crap I love how if u get the HOTAS it automatically assigns the buttons the real A-10 uses. AWESOME!

Give the pics a good look, there are an amazing amount of buttons on the throttle, looks awesome. I know if I buy this i will feel bad for spending so much money on something I hope to fly in the future =]
