Ok so I have a targeting pod and an AGM-65D equipped. I will find the target with my TGP, make it POINT, and then switch to my maverick, hold down V (which I thought would automatically slew my maverick to the POINT that I assigned with my TGP). It locks it onto the current steerpoint...what gives? I want it to lock onto the POINT I made with my TGP, not the steerpoint. What am I doing wrong? Hopefully this question helps others that are having the same problem. It is most likely just a stupid mistake on my end, sorry about that in advance.

For some reason, even if I move the throttle up, I still cannot activate the EAC. Like, its clickable, but nothing happens when I click. Sorry if this has already been answered.

Maybe the video is of the A-10A. Perhaps the A-10C's avionics suite weights down the aircraft and affects rollrate? If not there is defineteley something wrong with the roll rate in this sim. Ive tried flying the hog at like 10% fuel and the roll rate is nothing like in this video. And that was on a clean config.

This happened after I uninstalled DCS A10C, than reinstalled. Is there anyway to completely uninstall this game, because maybe that is why it is messed up. I used the control panel method. I dont know what is going on here. I had to reinstall the game in the first place because i installed a profile, but didnt like it, and had no way to revert back to the original profile that comes with the sim. help!

yes, the DCS A10C will be much more complicated than FC2. Therefore, it will take longer to learn it. Not quite months for the first mission, maybe like a few days.

If I remember correctly, not too long ago, there was a DCS A-10C article on simhq. It was titled something like "New information about DCS A-10C! with a surprise at the end!" The surprise was a SDK kit to devlelop new land and areas and what not. Somehow it just passed over the forums with no recognition.

I think the coolest part was when they showed the gau 8's barrell rotating!

the obvious next aircraft should be an F-16. Its multirole, not so classified as other aircraft, and has played a major role in aviation history. And its kickass.

Its hard to believe that is an in game image! When looking at FC2's choppers, they are crap compared to this! I am just so happy we are getting a simulator as high of a fidelity as the DCS A-10C. I cant wait to see whats next. I think I might have a heart attack if they announce its a viper! That would be my dream come true, with the A-10 being my second choice, so im not complaining!

hey guys question about the targeting. some times in falcon 4, i just want to take manual control of the targeting pod. for some reason some time it wont let me control it. it will just be stuck to a steerpoint or something. In dcs a10, is there a mode that i can just take full control of it, point it at whatever i want, and when i want? also does the A-10C even have ground radar like the F-16 does?

im surprised we havent heard any word on how the 64bit version of warthog has been coming. wont having a 64 bit version allow for better multicore processing?
