damn thats awesome dude. I know ill become a USAF pilot, im gonna haul ass in college to get a pilot slot. My dream is to fly a viper or F-35 or A-10C, those are my three favorites, but i would be the happiest man on earth flying ANYTHING for the USAF. Oh add strike eagle to that list, that thing is kick ass. Every time I go to the airshow and hear how loud and powerful these things are, its almost surreal. The sound these aircraft make is unimaginably loud, no video can do the this ground-rumbling engine justice. If I make it as a pilot, i will look around and say to myself "just like trackir!"

Ive been wondering does the A-10C have a calculated gun pipper for air to air dogfights. In FC2 it didnt.

Any testers wanna give us some more info on the whole dx11 situation, or is it hush hush

Hello everyone. I know this is the wrong forum, shame on me, but not to many people read the actual hardware forum and I need to get peoples attention. I recently got a Motorola droid x and one of my favorite applications so far is tapatalk. It is an easy way to browse forums without using your browser, it is very intuitive and awesome to use. Problem is, this forum isnt registered with tapatalk. Any moderator/developer that might be interested in this PLEASE register with tapatalk. From what I can tell it doesnt take to long and we could take our DCS fantasies on the go! Im thinking about taking the jump to overclocking my new rig when the DCS A-10C comes out. Right now im running an i5-750 at stock 2.66ghz. Ive heard of people getting it up to 4.0ghz stable. Do you guys think its worth the trouble, or will it not really make all that big of a difference. I know for a fact that in FC2, turning on full shadows makes a significant difference in performance, especially when first entering the 'pit. If I look around right when entering, everything will be super choppy until I look around for a bit, then it smooths out. Also, any suggestions as to a good cooling fan for my i5? Im not willing to spend more than $50 on it.

whats the price gonna be in USD? The virtual thunderbirds dude on here said it wouldnt be 500 dollars USD (the amount that comes up when you convert the euro amount to usd). If its 300 or less, im buying. If not, ill wait till it goes down.

hey guys i got a question about the gun and targeting pod. Lets say there is a stationary truck on the ground. You lock onto it with the TGP. Can I go into gun mode, and still retain the lock with the TGP? This would make it much easier to relocate the target after losing a visual on it.

Welcome! Let me tell you, I often play falcon (free and open) and DCS A-10C is gonna blow it away. You should check out the producer notes on youtube. Just search A-10C producer notes on youtube.

200 tops for me. 500 is absolutely outrageous, i could get around 5 real flight hours for that.

There were definitely two. One crashed, the other one is on display at Edwards AFB

this sim was developed for the ANG originally. If the A-10C currently has JAGM capabilities, so will this simulator, provided the information about the weapon has been declassified.

I was wondering if there is gonna be log book that tracks all your hours flown, medals recieved, kills in both multiplayer and single player. I thought it would be cool to have an online profile where people can tell how good you are.
