Hi..the range of the Mig-29S (3FuelTanks,4R77) seems to match a Su-27 (4ER,2ET,2R73,ECM) If you fly full afterburner at 7500m alt from Anapa heading for Bautumi you have to stop over at Gaudata in both aircraft but if you fly at 12000m alt the Mig-29S seems to outrange a Su-27 by quite a margin both can reach Bautumi but the Mig-29S does it with more to spare.In reality could a Mig-29S with 3 tanks perform air combat without damaging\over stressing itself ? or is the pilot required to get rid of the tanks if he wants to engage in combat.

Hmm Ok i guess that explains that but since we are on the topic of nose color Why do some have green and some have white noses does this mean something ?

Hey how can I respect other pilots who have taken\respect the oath if I don't know who they are?:huh: You also Forgot * Don't kill AWACS when no one is even in the game and then boast about it. * Don't chase people back to their base and then exit the game after you run out of fuel or kill them. * Try to Balance Teams when joining a game. * Do not do suicide runs on Ka-50s and hang around the FARP till your out of fuel ( There is a special place in hell for you ). * Worst of all Don't say things like "Whatever" after being shot down anyone who says "Whatever" needs to be banned for a week.

Seems like the yellow canopy tint and green nose colors nose can vary a lot.Can you guys see Yellow tint in both ? It looks like in the first pic there is a little bit of yellow in front I'm not sure though.:unsure:

Yes Its very unfair because I play with a ping of around 180 on the 51st&4c (Euro Server?) and around constant 270 on the 104th&3sq(US server) and I never get accused of warping or stuff like that even when there are 40+players.

for sure but thats is just the way the default skin looks If you change stuff then it starts to look odd in game if you know what i mean...because there are about 3 if Im not mistaken green nosed Su-27s and if you change just one then it looks weird so i left it at its default color.

India only has female transport Pilots...Women are not allowed to join as fighter pilots because if the pilot wants to have children she would have to take a long leave and since training is so expensive its not allowed but they may start a rule which will allow female fighter pilots but on a pre-condition that they will not have children till 37-38 years old.Also there is a general view in the Indian armed forces that "Feels that its not right to allow a woman to become a prisoner of War" especially when your enemy does not respect any rules of war. Was just searching for some new Mig-29 skins and found a Mig-29 of 31st GvIAP. I think I have a general Idea what this means PVO(Anti-Air Defense)(MiG-23,MiG-31,Su-27) and Frontal Aviation(CAS to ground units)(Mig-29,Mig-27,Su-25,Su-24)but what does GvIAP and IAP mean?

Well before I made this post this happened I was chasing someone around 20K in EOS and I knew he had AWACS support but I thought when this guy turns back towards me during his turn I'll fire an ET and then break away but what happened was I did not get any LA during his turn around and he ended up about 13k in front of me I couldn't resist anymore so I override 2 ET and brake hard left only to get an hit by R-77. Well I learned my lesson now I just use it to sneak up on people instead of scaring them with an ER which usually doesn't hit and they go full burn away or worst yet they turn towards you and send some send some active missiles...but thanks for the tips.

Well It could come in handy if the bandit is a Su-27 who outta ER's like you :)..anyways I know its bad idea to go up against those Low Mig-29's with just ETs these days when you really don't know what the hell their carrying before almost everyone would take 2ET 2R77 so you could at least have some idea when they run out of actives I just asked this question so I know how to make the best use of ET. So now I guess I have to be chasing in EOS under 20K to avoid the bandit getting radar lock warning and then fire at 12k thanks.

The seeker locks on to a heat signature so then if you are head on with some one and he was heading towards you full burn and you were on idle wouldn't your ET be able to get a better heat signature lock before his ET gets a lock is what I meant.
