These are fine suggestions (+1 StrongHarm) when you've managed to take off. I'd like to say that IRL (I believe) isn't so hard to take off. There should be some mechanism to put you on the track (I don't mind to wait if someone is landing). Maybe is just me ...

For me is biggest problem to take off the ground - or even begin taxiing. First two missions was problem with other aircraft taxiing and blocking way. Then, every new mission you start in different hangar. So you must look with F10 to see where you are. Once I taxi to the dead end (I believe mission in 5). And there was no way to turn around. There should be some kind of help (maybe to call ground crew to turn you?). I just end mission and start it again. Now there was a rain and when starting second engine and I was looking down at radios, my A10 turns to right with nose on the wall. Again nothing to do. I thought that joystick needs to recalibrate, so I did it. But next time I've started mission it was same again. I completed startup procedure with holding rudder to left and with wheel-brake on. Then, new surprise. I didn't get clearance to taxi. There was a lot of traffic (landing A10s, then landing F15s). For me: no go. End mission and start again. Same scenario. When starting left engine, aircraft start to turn to right, then I can't get taxi clearance. :doh: Anyone else with similar problems? I've read somewhere in forums about wind problems but I'm in shelter so it shouldn't be problem.

Step by step. Make TAD as SOI and slew red triangle. Manual page 641: The easiest way to target the coordinate is to make the red triangle data link symbol on the TAD your SPI. You can also create a new waypoint using the coordinate and select it as a Mission point from the CDU. After receiving the point data, the JTAC will clear you to engage.

This could be right. I just did 4th mission and it was first that I didn't get red triangle. And at beginning I contact ground crew to change my weapons (6 mavs, tgp). Wingman stayed at hangar. I contacted with JTAC and after 6th mav he got no more targets. I RTB. Mission done with 65 pts.

Well, I'm stupid too :music_whistling: First time I was flying around and waiting :joystick: (I think some 10 minutes or so) then I remembered to zoom out map. But if you run so close, than that's not it.

Maybe you must change view of map if the the target is further than MFD shows.

You will now need to read back the target location and elevation, and other data if applicable such as final attack heading. To do so, press \ and then F1. With the read back complete, the JTAC will message "Standby for data". Soon after you will receive a text message digital 9-line on your MSG page and a small, red triangle will appear on the TAD at the target location. You can then use the TAD cursor to make this new symbol your SPI. To accept the tasking, press the WILCO OSB. Manual page 641.

Beside radio talk I only accept task with WILCO. And then when red triangle appears i select it and set it as target

I've never changed any IDs. And always (4 times) got red triangle.

I noticed two bridges. Road and over-road. And armour columns are going over first and under second bridge. Maybe we should destroy those two. I noticed them too late (I didn't have any ammo left) and when I land, mission was success.

I've noticed, that sometimes, when selecting saved freq. and then calling that freq., text for selecting message (upper right) isn't bright white, but is dimmed (like there is not set to right freq.). But pressing Fx (F1, F2, ...) button calls anyway. And that was bothering me - I thought that saving frequencies doesn't work (because of dimmed text).

I've flown beta with HD4770 and A10 was playable with med. settings. So, just like ZoomBoy said, you're good to go. Have fun!

I have problem with taxiing on first mission. To the right of my hangar is A10, when I go left, at the end of taxiing, 2 aircrafts coming my way.

I've been searching view to radio 1, on which I have problem to view when throttle is full back (at startup). I believe nr.1 is just SnapView I need.
