it is not my intention to troll or post flame posts. It was just an idea that popped my mind. Probably its isnt a good idea to bring out a beta on DVD cause people will come back with anger about bugs that are known because its a beta but they forget... So yeah, stupid thought, stupid idea. This threat can be locked before war breaks out:cry:.

Hi, Nope, i am not asking when its going to be released because i know the answer: as soon as it's done:thumbup: Right now they sell the beta version. If i am right they the sim is patched up to beta 4. Beta 5 is somewere on its way and maybe beta 6, 7, 8 ect...who knows Why not a full release of the sim as it is right now? The only possibility to buy it right now is via DCS which require a credit card. But its a release... Why not releasing it now on DVD via stores which can be paid with different payment systems? The majority of people that will buy the A-10 are already familiar with the developing of the sim and probably also own FC1 or 2 or BS. They know they buy a beta, which will be patched and patched. Seeing it from that point of view, every game that is released is a beta. Every game has bugs and need patches. If they sell the beta on DVD in stores with different payment options its mine and i think a lot of people agree with me or think the same way. Just a thought....

I do play some games online. Mostly on public servers. As for GTR Evo and Lock on its hard for me to go online because im afraid of screwing things up for teammates. It would be nice though if there is a serious(!) training server where you learn the protocols and how to fly online with help from some veteran.

I have been flying flightsims for years. Give me a fixed plane aircraft flightsim (no matter what), i will take off, do a go around and land. I have flown (well...i was able to bank left, right, climb and descent) in a real Cessna (birthday present). I have flown the PMDG 747-400 in FS9 twice around the world (real time and weather) without a single crash. But...BS is another story. I admit i was quit "scary" to buy BS cause i didn't know what expect. Sometimes i flew a chopper in FSX... But his baby...wow man. Even with the excellent trim function and autopilot function its still hard to fly it as smooth a a fixed plane aircraft. And looking at YT vids of people really mastering the BS...respect! I like it as it is a new challenge! DCS BS = :thumbup:

Haha...okay then! I just readjusted my sound settings in the configuration panel to a lower value en guess what: the problem was solved...but i still had my door open:D

Hi, As i start the first (left) engine the startup sound is okay. As soon as i startup the second engine, the background running sound of the first engine stops and then repeats itself from scratch for the second engine. Is this in game build or do i have a flaw in my startup procedure? First i thought that a un-installed mod was responsible for this sound. But i just installed BS from scratch and it still happens....although i cant remember this having the first time at engine startup...

Im playing GTA4 and Nico walks around the street. I hijack a car. Get in and then "pfoof" im into Test drive unlimited (2). I cruise to the airport. Over there i get into a 747-400 and "pfoof" i can fly the PMDG 747-400 like in FS9. I land the 747-400 and get out. Nice heads for home "pfoof" i'm in sims 3. I get a job with the army. I head for my work and "pfoof" im in ARMAII totally mixed with the best of SNIPER GW, COD, MOH FC1, FC2, BS and A-10. As i play ARMAII i have the possibility for the RTS mode like in RUSE ect ect ect... There is this famous sentence i will never forget: "I have a dream"

A lot have problem with their dead throttle units. Some of them are waiting 3 weeks without a answer from TM. So, i am still on the verge of buying a WT device but why do you not maintain a support forum? And how come people have to wait 3 weeks for an answer? Please visit the "input / output" thread on the ED forum and read for yourself. Why should i buy the TM without decent support? And please, dont get me wrong. I really want to buy it but for 350 euro's i want decent good forum support.

I have been following all the "dead throttle" posts. I think that the answer of TM is half of the truth. My opinion about this whole "dead throttle" topic is that somehow they used different "bios" chips for different batches. I worked at a lot of manufactory compagnies and they all had 1 thing in common: As soon as company X had a delay with the original part X, they went to company Y for a similar part Y, which should do the same trick as the original part X. Everytime this led to troubles. I have the same feeling with the WT. I am going to be patient.

Hi, Last week i have sent two questions to TM. 1 Regarding the back light of the throttle unit and second the throttle failures. This is the original message from me to TM: Im on the verge on buying the WT. Before i make my move i have some questions: 1) is there a knob on the throttle panel were i can switch the back lighting on and off? 2)On a forum i have red some throttle related problems. After shutting down the PC and then restarting the PC, the PC wont recognize the throttle anymore. As far as i read, TM advises a RMA were the throttle unit is repaired. Does this problem only relate to a batch of is it add random? Answer from TM: Dear Mr. Boby Kim, Thank you for your request. The backlighting on the throttle will be adjustable with our next release of the TARGET software. It is not available in the current RC3 version. The problem with the throttle you have read is related to the firmware inside the throttle. This happens randomly and we are working to get these cases isolated. With the new drivers we have releases not long ago we have included a protection of the flash through HID to avoid potential flash corruption. This will avoid the firmware corruption in the future. We rest at your disposal for any further questions.

I own Arma II and i like it. But i like it as the game itself is. Yes, its fun here are options to fly some crafts. And it is also nice its not a COD or MOH shooter. But i cant recollect that i went to their forum "wining" about the fact that the helicopters or planes are not simulator enough. That i want ARMA II to have a heli flight model and systems like BS. Buy Hawx and you will have fun. If you are not satisfied with BS or any ED or DCS product than go to google and find yourself a game you enjoy. Cant find it? Well...sometimes life is hell.

Well guys, i started her up manually and my god...i loved it!! The sound of the APU is so great to hear. And then, the engines, the WOOP WOOP of the rotors. And the LOOK of the rotors is just amazing!! I must admit, im a plane guy. But this...this is a must have! I took it for a spin. The first two minutes were hard. Much much harder than any aircraft i have ever flown on the PC. But i got hold of her (without trim), did a go around and landed. A bit hard landing but okay... This is going to screw up my social life. (Did i have any?):pilotfly:

Well, I have noticed that BS is hardcore! As im not a person that learns theory and than put the theory in practice, im the other way around. I will head of to the manual to learn more about specific system in the BS. I will also get into the rookie thread at this forum. For as now i just cant wait to start her up for the first time and have a quick spin with her. And the word "spin" should be taken literary im afraid:cry:

Hi, I am searching YT for a good slow(!) mouse hovering BS startup procedure with preferable speech (which isn't really necessary). Most of the VIDS are fast peacing vids were people try to show off their skills. I found a good VID from Matt Wagner but its in a low res and i cant see the exactly what he is doing. Another thing that im suprised off is the different sequence people use in order to start her up. I am convinced that there is only 1 procedure for all BS pilots. Yes, within the BS training section there is a good tutorial. But im using a second monitor to run the YT vid on, running BS in windowed mode so i can pause the YT vid without BS getting minimized. And i havent discovered a method to run BS twice. Does anybody have a link for me which has the demanding tutorial?

Well, i discovered that after i applied the patch:music_whistling: Somewhere in this forum i saw a fix for the training screen to come up again. I know i can DL vids from the DCS site. Are these Vids the same as the trainings in 1.0? **EDIT**: I have found the fix for the training menu and all 1.00 training missions. If there are mission that wont play corrtectly i will deinstall and install 1.00. Thanks so far guys. As seen from the control menu there is a LOT to learn! Mjammie!

Yippie!!:yay:I received BS today by mail! First i wanted to DL it from Steam but after all im glad that i ordered it at Gamewereld.nl (a dutch game internet store. They are the only internet store in Holland were they sell BS). So i installed it and directly went over to the training menu and i saw the introduction...WOW! So far i am deeply impressed. I have not time to play yet but in the weekend i will give it a spin. Now im a proud owner of Lock on, Flaming Cliffs, Flaming Cliffs 2 and Black Shark. Cheers to ED and DCS! Is there a top 3 mod's musthave?

Hopefullly A-10 isnt going to be a "FSX" story. (FSX will run on a I13 -3476 22 cores CPU running stock at 32 GHZ with 128 GB mem and a GTX 1390 in 4 SLI with 64 GB mem)...or something like that we will encounter in the far future...

Pfff...from what world do you live in? Look around you. Everything around your PC and in your PC comes from the far east countries like Taiwan, Korea, China. Its not a "Made in China" syndrome! You should be glad that its made overthere otherwise we would pay 1000 euros for the WT and then still we would not be guaranteed of a 100 non failure product. This has nothing to do with China but false TM management who decide to use Chip X instead of Chip Y.

Wow...so the A-10 is cabable of detecting ir missle launch. Is that system just as reliable as it picks up radar missile launches? Well, the main problem is my wingman! I have tried to use him as bait. Sent him high up as being a shooting duck so i could take down the samsite. And when i get a good mav lock end fire the mav, they shoot my killing mav out of the air. Looking further at the mission: There is a friendly AI pack that consists of 2 Su25's. I have a A-10 wingmen. The enemy has tripple A, sams and two choppers. As i come near at the wz, i order my wingmen to engage the sams and i go for the choppers. Either way, my wing is being shot within 10 sec. Than i hear the ingress of the 2 SU25. It only takes 30 sec before they get shot. So i am all alone against tripple A, sams and choppers. So i must be smart and turn around, going home for hot coffee which means i failed the mission...At least i didnt got shot down...:cry:
