Finally, after infinite attempts, mission accomplished. I'll leave some help from my side. After many attempts wiht rockets from far away I decided to make low passes to provoke the mapads to shoot at me. - Remove the Chaffs and get full off Flares. - Try to arrive to WYPT_3 behind the other two F5s. MG21s will go after them while you head south to attack the comboy. - If you don't go through WYPT3 the communications with the rescue team may not be activated. - It takes 3 passes for the manpads to fire 6 missiles and run out of ammo (above 500 mph, very very low flying, dropping flares and without AF) - Once the mapads run out of ammunition, attack the conboy with bombs and rockets. As soon as you hit them they will stop advancing. It is easy to get hit with their ammunition (I came home without a Left generator and without hydraulics). - Warning: in the second rocket pass, two MIG23s from the South were spotted (luckily there was an F5 hovering around to entertain them). - Curiosity: recates helicopters shot down a MIG21 Feedback : - no communication with the other F5 and Phantons. - very difficult, you need another F5 to go with you to finish with the manpads.

I have found that instead of following the WYP route, I can fly directly to the target an the MIGs do not notice my presence and head towards my partners. The problem is that I don't see a way to elimiate the mapads. Bombs require me to get too close. Rockets launched in the normal way also require me to get too close, so I've been trying to do "loft" launches (from level flight I pull the stick upwards when I shoot so that the rockets have more range), but the impacts are very random and it's very difficult to eliminate the manpads exactly. I've moved closer so that the mapads can shoot at me and locate their position (from above they can't be seen) which is very dangerous. Even avoiding the first few launches, I end up being shot down on the next maneuver. I have also tried changing the armament and using CBU but it doesn't make much sense to launch them from so high up. Is it possible that I should focus my attack on the conboy and forget about the infantry? Any suggestions? Sorry for my English!

Kh-29 and KAB-500Kr fail to track moving objects

K-500 kr is broken and it can not be used. The HUD never shows it in range even if you are close to the target. Some time ago, in a newlester, EA talked about the improvements in the armament of the red side. I hope this is the cause of the bug and it will be fixed sooner rather than later. -

nullAfter leaft this alive, I have not received any "success" message from the mission. I ran out of ammunition and, in the last attack, the plane hit the ground and was badly damaged, I was unable to return home. Would it have been a "success" if I had arrived home? Thanks! This mission is a lot of fun!

A more deeply IFF system. In DCS it is too accurate with no possibility of failure. Right now it is lagging behind other functions. I guess there is already a thread about this, although I haven't found it. Cheers!

Things about mission 05. - I can't get my wiggam to attack the troops behind the bridge. When I tell him to attack Ground targets or My Target, he goes for the SAMS in the distance (this is the DCS AI I guess...). - I hit the targets and they recommended me RTB. Coming back I found the F4 ready to make their attack. Is that delay because I didn't follow the WYP correctly? Thanks!

I don't remember, but when I have used the data I get from Krymsk I end up in a place where there is no airport, and with the fog it is impossible to locate. Following the AWACS I arrived directly. Let's go for the third mission! -

Well, I finally finished mission #2 after many attempts. I got lost many times going back until I learned how useful it is to ask the AWACS for the Vector to bullseye and the Vector to home plate. I still have problems to activate the radio, and I'm still wondering why the airport gives me some data to return that don't match with the data the AWCAS gives me when I ask for the Vector to Home plate. Is it possible that the airport doesn't give me its exact address but a place from where to face the runway or something similar? Thanks! -

On the air, the communications menu does not appears most of the time. I have to try it again and again and again and then, for some unknown reason, the menu opens. It is purely random. I am using the UHF Radio microphone button (call radio menu). When I press it in the command menu it shows that it runs, but during the game it usually doesn't work. I have the radio in MAN or BOTH, and in MANUAL or PRESET, any setting gives me the same problem. It is tuned to 253.000. Sorry for my english! -

Hello, by setting the highest shadow parameters within DCS I only get very poor shadows on the aircraft I can see from inside the cockpit. The only solution is to modify the shadows.lua file and manually change the parameters something anti-intuitive and breaks the IR in Multiplayer). For some special reason this is not implemented in the options inside DCS? Thanks!
