the question truely is, will 11.8 sort out the power on / power off issue with change of clock speeds in 2D mode when using ATI's eye finity with the Active Display port adapter (usually the Bizlink / Sapphire)

Answer = probably not. Seems ATI couldn't give a shyte.

I just tested myself with the WHQL 11.8 one, and the problem is still there.

Back to 11.6 it is !

I have reported the white box and the crossfire performance issues to the AMD Catalyst Feedback Crew several times, in hope of getting their attention.

It might be worth some of you guys making a report too, the more the better

Perhaps it will also make them aware of DCS A-10C in the hope of them doing some optimizations for the sim.

told them that it did it with 11.5, 11.7 and 11.8 but ok with 11.6

I just tested myself with the WHQL 11.8 one, and the problem is still there.
