Not recently..... One of the drivers they(Saitek/MadCatz) put out did not recognize button states. I went through hell removing the pieces of that on so I could get the old ones back in. I could experiment with me laptop and see what happens ( I do not game on that one).

OK, did a lot of cleanup in the code but didn't add anything but some constants for buttons etc.

Now, the DLL is called "Passerelle", so to test it you should do:

require("passerelle");

local saitek = passerelle;

New files are here:

Win32: http://chrilith.com/temp/saitek/Win32/Passerelle.dll

x64: http://chrilith.com/temp/saitek/x64/Passerelle.dll

(Updated files: 2016-02-26 12:26pm)

If anyone can test it, thanks!

Give me a couple of days and I will give it a good test. Right now kinda up in the air for a minute. (still trying to get F86f and Mil8 done as well as looking into the new Modules).

Real life issues also wants attention.

New gauges

F86F gauges out for the fip. Still need to spend more time with the module to incorporate x 52 pro functions.

Any needs or requests are encouraged , I have spent little time exploring possibilities with many modules.

Basic gauges and associated knobs /or buttons are functioning. Some details need to be refined ,but most items are useful in function. Usual install process as noted in CPIAS A-10 post.

Just to let everyone knows... After this new version is done, time will come to add more features. First one will be the ability to use your Android or iOS device as a second screen!! And many more later!

Hi, New to the forums and wanted to say Thanks! for this mod. I am using two fips with the saitek switch, multi, and radio panels thanks to arturdcs [will thank those guys as well] and all works together fine.

A couple of questions,

1, How to install the passerelle and lua dlls? I have the saitek dll and cpias installed and working. Have not installed the first passerelle master. Do I run the bat file?

2, Do you guys accept donations? This software is worth something to me, even a small donation to promote further development.

3, I found the fips will not connect to dcs if I install the A10cdu app in my export.lua. The same issue with A10virtual server. Either will work alone but not together. Changing the order in the export.lua does not help.

The fips do work with touch control app.

Thanks again for your work on this. Its because of this fantastic community and developer, Thanks ED!, that I can fly the sim I've wanted since longbow and janes.

Hi Hawkeye60,

1. Passerelle is an update to the old saitek DLL. Unless you want to work on developing your own module it will not add much functionality to what you are currently using.

The real new amazing feature will come in the next version! algerad3 is aware of it, hopefully he will find time to evaluate it properly when I will have a preview version :)

2. Used to accept with some other projects, why not for this one :) The bigger thank is really to see more and more users use my software!

3. About using multiple module using export may be tricky indeed. I personaly haven't found time to look at it yet :( The best is to contact the various authors and see how they can work together.

perhaps algerad3 can help on this issue.

I'm thinking anyway to create a base lua script that can load more modules to ease integration. Have to find time for this and motivation too... my work oesn't seem to be used as much for now

Thank you for your message :)

Thanks for the reply chrilith, Ive had lua.exe crash sometimes, was hoping this would make it more stable.

Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next release.

Found a Tweak for fips. To change the default images displayed while not "in sim", back up in C:\program files\saitek\directoutput all Fip1.jpg to Fip5.jpg.

Add your own images in format 320x240 .jpg. overwriting originals using the same names.

Works for all but serial number screen.

a few questions...

I've had the X52 Pro for several years. I was reading through your thread and am a bit confused as to exactly what your files do for X52 Pro? I fly f-15 and Mig-29. Is it about enhancing the use of the MFD so you can see photos and other info?

What does FIP stand for?

Thank you.

Fitness88,

sorry for the late response. Basically the scripts sends and recieves info and displays it on the mfd of the x52 pro. also controls the lights indicating the landing gear status.

Take a look at this thread, it should help clear things up.

Fip stands for Flight instrument panel another item Saitek put out.

Very interesting indeed. I always felt the X52 Pro was neglected on its MFD potential, nice to see someone working it. All I ever did was to run some customized text, 16 character was the limit.

Thanks for the follow-up and have fun with it!

of course , that is all it is about..... Having fun. I am still working on other modules.

.lua files are fun to play around with. My search now is for the HUD .lua file containing font sizes and colors. I've searched in many files but still no joy!
